Kipyegon is clearly no 1, as we all know and, and I certainly would prefer Mondo or Bakkali to Crouser who is a physical freak of 2.01 and 145 kg(22.8 stones ).with great technique. Even Ingebritsen is preferred by me with his 5K victory and silver in the 1500m at Budapest plus a WR in the 2K. For me that is much harder to achieve than chucking a ball further than anybody.
i mean , shes had very bad luck with injuries dude, or she would be scoring an extra 200 odd points herself

Even with the loss of the 5000 record tonight I think Kipyegon is still supreme.

A case for Mondo as well?

I think Mondo is quite an unassuming chap and so you forget just how crazy his achievements are.
Whilst I don't think Morgan is Brit female of the year, I do think she deserves a most improved/special achievement award? A genuinely world class season after a lot of people were suggesting she would never come good.

Hodgkinson (A very close call with KJT but that massive British record swings it for me)
              Kerr
              Kipyegon
              Crouser / Mondo (I can't split them)

                Yep.

Although I’d still argue Crouser over him. Mainly on the basis of their defeats. Mondo had a blow out, while Crouser lost by 2cm to the 2nd furthest man in history - at a distance that only 3 other men have exceeded. Mondo’s losing height had been equalled or exceeded by 4 Brits and we’re pants at mPV.

The other slight black mark against Mondo is that while a WR is incredible, we’re all pretty sure he can go higher still, but like Bubka before him he banks the cheques for the 1cm increments (as would we all….), which isn’t an option open to Crouser who doesn’t have that or pacing lights etc - he just has to give it his all. May not stay that way but I reckon Crouser’s rewriting of the record books is currently more impressive and in % terms definitely is.

Good arguments. I'm still torn between them.

Mondo did actually struggle all season to get that 6.23 so I'm not quite convinced he's holding out.

Both superb athletes in their respective fields anyway.
