Has anyone reached a conclusion as to what triggers an unapproved post warning and whether there is any future in a unapproved post getting approved?

I know that editing quickly and adding links can result in one. Some subjects or names seem cursed. Other warnings don't seem to make sense at all?

I presume it's automated. Probably the number of links would be one trigger.

    What have you had unapproved?

I did a post on Sal*zar and CAS which was immediately unapproved whether as a separate post or comment with or without the link deleted and then later edited one word and that got it unapproved again.

I haven fallen foul of the dreaded 'unapproved' system on more than one ocassion...

He might not thank me for this ...but a gentle request to [email protected] has resolved matters promptly

    Cheers!

More than the number of links I think it's the actual link that's more important.

You could have 5 or more World Athletics links in one post I think but, as I found out the other day, just one link to the Japan Running News site got my post unapproved. In that case it may be to do with it being a blogspot dot com site.

Regards just waiting for it to be approved ... I don't think it's likely. My sense is that AW admin only come on here when they receive a flag post about spam or when you've messaged them.
