And according to the results breakdown, everyone of his valid throws (five of them I think) were all over 72m. Definitely going in the right direction again is Jake. Still a pretty tall order to make the World Championship team with the frankly ludicrous 78m qualifying standard UKA have imposed on the hammer throwers. But perhaps a selection for the European Team champs would be a worthwhile goal for him this year at least?

And one more ex-athlete - Toby Olubi, 60m & 100m sprinter, but most Olympic Bobsleigh, will be Phantom.

Plus a wind legal best of 6.66. Quite encouraging after a slow start to the season.

2.00.90 not too bad a time although she was outrun by the South African Sekgodiso at the end.

Not the fastest of races, but I think she looked better than she has for some time. A good season's debut beating most of a good field, 2:00.91.

Almanza way down in 6th after 1:59.6 at the weekend.

        • 1.45.74 SB for Elliot Giles as he continues his return from injury. (I thought it was a season opener, but I see he ran a few days ago in Germany.)

Another good run for Sarah Healy, 4:04, and a better run by Hanna Klein than the other day, 4:05 this time.

I don't think anyone knows what non binary means. Hiltz is biologically female though so legitimately in the race.
