I had to Google Ceccarelli, and now I know why: He first broke 6.70 in January, first broke 6.60 in February, now sub 6.50 in March. What?!?!?!?!

I was about to say it looks like Prescod versus the Italians in the final, but Jacobs looks like his injury might have come back?Comment

Marco del Medico. It looks as if his career has been hampered by injuries: https://www.fidal.it/atleta_one.php?t=fa6RkpOgaWw

That was a bit rubbish tactically, Learmonth let Ben through on the inside, who then stopped him going past outside, and he never recovered his position. They shouldn't have changed the name from Lucky Loser.Comment

Ha, both my remaining M 800 predictions, Tecuceanu & Kramer, doing it the hard way and sneaking into the final by the slimmest of margins.Comment

You wouldn't believe it from the BBC coverage but there's a Women's PV final going on !
Of the 8 women field, 5 are left having cleared 4.60. The next height is 4.70. The athletes out are Bruni, Meijer & Moser.Comment

Laura isn't in tip-top shape this winter but it was still good enough. Very pleased for Claudia Bobocea getting a medal.Comment

Hmm, of her 4 "finals" she really only looked something like her best at the Millrose Games. Still, she won them all. -
Thought it was the way the race was run. Made ground quite quickly from the back. Had a little battle with Bobocea before going clear extravagantly.
Used her energy to win the race early and just had to hang on (Warholm a more extreme example). Compared Bobocea and Ennaoui ran a steady pace and were staying on.

Based on how Jemma Reekie has raced this season, I’m guessing the group hasn’t prioritised the indoors / not done the full speed work etc, but they felt Laura had enough of a gap over the field to win off of the back of their trainingComment
