Did a quick Google search on Brindley which turned up his Twitter page. Went to it just now.... last post was from Oct 2020. Nothing else since.

Big pb of 8.47 for u17 Amelia Weeks, based in Spain, to take second place in the UK rankings for 60 hurdles behind Thea Brown, and fifth on the all time list. She's also improved on the flat this year with a legal 7.62 outdoors last month, and 7.47 windy, and 7.71 indoors at the weekend.

Like Daniel Castilla, she's listed under Spain on the WA site.

Incidentally, no.1 on that list seems to be another what happened to?

Scott Brindley set a record of 5086 in march 2018, and was still competing up until Covid struck. He's no. 7 on the u20 hep list with 5409 in Feb 2020. Then post-Covid, he did three throws comps in early 2021, with pbs in each, and nothing else since.

As I suspected, it’s now been replaced

Ian Hodge reports an outstanding 5017 score for Sam Wright to win the u17 England hepthathlon title over the weekend. You may remember his fine 7.17 LJ to beat Dmitri Varlack in the England champs last month. this new performance is second on the U.K. all time list for the age group.

Now this is a massive turn up for the books if correct (but it seems so bizarre perhaps it is an error).

u20 800 m runner Indienne King is credited on Po10 with a 4.60 PV in Manchester. I’m inclined to think it must be an inputting error for a male athlete?

I really can’t See this one being correct, but it’s down on the externals results from the competition too (as Indie King, which I see as a short version of her name that comes up in general googling).

Yusuf Bizimana won the NCAA Indoor 800m title, with a PB of 1:46.02, but only after the original winner, Navasky Anderson, who'd initially taken the victory in what would have been a huge indoor PB of 1:45.90, was DQ'd for illegal blocking during the race.

Bizimana was the main beneficiary, and his time moves the 22 year old not only into 1st place in the UK's 2023 indoor ranks, also propels him up from 17th on the UK indoor all time list, all the way up to 8th.

51.22, her third best time ever, for Amber Anning, finishing second to Adeleke in the B final. Definitely looking forward to what she can do outdoors this year.

Kenneth Ikeji was 10th in the weight throw, 21.92m quite a bit down on the 22.66m he threw at the Ivy League Champs a fortnight ago.

Anning looked very easy in a heat with less competition. Adeleke had a strong first 200m but Britton Wilson was much stronger in the second half of the race. She is a sub 49 relay leg runner and glided past with a 26.60 last 200m for the fastest time overall and an indoor PB of 50.69.

The two-section final has the 3rd and 4th fastest qualifiers in the first race - Adeleke and Anning, and first and second fastest qualifiers Wilson and Talitha Diggs (50.79) in the second race. Whatever the results, both races will be corkers, and at altitude, there could be a sub-50 clocking to win the title.

Exciting to see what Mary Yemi John will achieve this summer based on her indoor times. Any other year 51.90 would have easily qualified for the final. It is an unusually strong year for 400m collegiate runners and Adeleke and Anning are right up there in the medal mix.

Bizimana won his heat in a slow race. Take Ojora only just made it through as a fast loser. Burkey didn’t qualify, as expected in a very high quality LJ, four guys over 8.30. Josh Zeller DNS.
