Not a bad response from Kat though.

There was a time when I don't think she would have managed to respond like that with a second throw.

Azu looks like he'll be amazing at 60m indoors.

While the swimming talking heads pass the baton to the athletics talking heads , KJT throws a PB on iplayer! I have both on at the same time.

Imani Lansiquot third in the 1st semi-final of the women's 100m in 11.18. Has to wait to see if she qualifies for the final.

Omanyala looks like the favourite for the men's 100m final with Simbine challenging.

KJT has won the gold surely. The PB in the javelin means that she has a 136 point lead over O'Conner, and unless KJT has turned into Austyre Skutye all of a sudden in the 800m, there's no way O'Conner is going to out pace Kat.

Three throws over 50m from O'Connor that is some good heptathlon spearing.

The crowds in Brum really are putting Oregon to shame. Not just the turnout, but the crowd engagement too. The Nigerian, Chioma Onyekwere, was roared on to the podium during her ceremony earlier. Brits love a big event! Worlds back in GB soon please, Lord Coe.

Daryll looked incredible! 10.90 with a very poor start, but a superb drive phase. She could threaten Dina's NR if she can put her whole race together.
