I think the Beeb will show the Women's 10,000 live, likely with pre-race Eilish montages thrown in and a healthy (?) dose of unrealistic discussion about her gold medal chances!
Hope you are right especially as the sprints are on tonight.

That meet and Monaco will be fascinating after a WC.

Oh he just won the race, looked very easy doing it to me. MHS through easily as well though

The young Zambian Samukonga breaks 45 but appears to have broken himself a little!

Mweresa - I put the kenyan as I didn't want to have to check the spelling!

Meanwhile, Samukonga, puts everything on the line to smash his lifetime best with a 44.89, in possibly the fastest 400m flat run by a Zambian since the days of Samuel Matete (Indeed, it is just 1/100th off the 44.88 NR Matete set 31 years ago in Rieti! It's also an age 19 best for his nation.)

Woah... Emmanuel Korir has been DQ'd for a lane infringement! MHS medal prospects improve even further if the DQ stands.

Yeah Kath Merry was saying "fair do's, he normally runs 800s" but still!

I think MHS' medal prospects were already pretty good, considering he just won Bronze at the Worlds and Gold and Silver aren't here! But yes, his Gold chances look better, although Allen from Jamaica ran a super easy heat looking classy.

You can be DQ'd for running out of lane on the first bend of an 800. It's rare but it does happen.

My eyes just aren't good enough...couldn't make out on my screen that he had stepped on the line : but I will believe the commentators and the judges Oh yes - now on that replay it is clear enough so the DQ must stand.

Big name out of the semis !

Some people ran pretty fast there - but most of them looked fairly flat out. MHS and Nathon Allen both strolled around by contrast...

Tonight....Ojie up first in a tough-ish semi, I think all the Brit men might struggle to get through unforch

A very good morning for the home athletes . 400w all through comfortably , MHS as above ; Pattison very impressive as the 800 "locals" all reached the final : and KJT looking pretty good after the long jump as long as she produces a reasonable javelin. OK , O'Connor will gain massively - but she is 267 points adrift... she will need a big one.

O'Dowda's big jump has lifted her - and I did like the way the Aussie lass Crase attacked the jumps ! Two fouls and a big PB - she certainly left nothing out there.

I do like Jenny, but not as a commentator. Last night, Yemi Mary John, in Meadowsspeak, became Mary Jemi John.
