Luzern was fairly crap conditions, but Charlie Dobson ran 20.52 there, beating Mitchell-Blake and 0.12 behind Kyree King (20.00 9 days earlier) and 0.05 behind Andrew Hudson (19.87 9 days earlier). Not bad company to keep, I wonder if he has any more races this year, as I feel a 20.0x is there...

A super-late August result that slipped under the radar here... Alisha Rees, new Scottish record holder over 100m, ran a new 200m PB of 22.98 (-0.2m/s), her first time ever under 23 seconds, over in the Kettering Town Harriers Open meeting on the 20th August. (This was the same meeting where Yasmin Liverpool set a substantial 200m PB of 23.10, and saw the return of Amy Hunt to action after missing most of the outdoor season due to injury, both performances that had been mentioned earlier on in this thread.)
Rees' time now moves her up to joint 3rd on the Scottish 200m all time list, level with 1984 Olympic 200m quarter finalist and 1986 Commonwealth Games 200m bronze medallist, Sandra Whittaker.Last edited by RunUnlimited; 07-09-22, 09:55.
