I thought it would be useful to have one place for all the Comm Games team announcements so that we can see who our plucky lads and lasses are up against.

A strong Aussie team with not many of their big names missing - https://www.athletics.com.au/news/at...to-birmingham/
In case you're wondering what the letters after names signify ... They're what state the athlete represents, e.g., Q = Queensland, N = New South Wales etc

Kenyan team here (as well as the WC team) - https://www.capitalfm.co.ke/sports/2...h-games-teams/
Obv they will be strong anyway, but looks like some of their very best - Kipyegon and Obiri for starters - are skipping B'ham.

New Zealand team: https://athletics.org.nz/defending-c...or-birmingham/
Of the conditional selections O'Hagan (W HJ) and Tanner (M 1500) now confirmed. If Speakman is not confirmed there is no indication who, if anyone, will be chosen as replacement.
Most medal hopes in the field with Men's SP and HJ and Women's PV, SP, HT and JT. Women's Pole Vault should be very interesting, sadly Eliza McCartney has only just resumed training and won't compete until next NZ summer.

Sounds like the Jamaicans don't like these quotas
Kayon Raynor on Twitter: "A standoff is brewing between the JAAA and the @jamaicaolympic over the no. of track athletes to make the trip to the C'wealth Games in Birmingham between Jul 28 & Aug 8. According to sources the JOA wrote the JAAA requesting that their team of athletes be cut from 70 to 48. https://t.co/KIg67oEPhF" / Twitter
