That's a pity as Look East on the BBC did a preview item yesterday featuring him and Sophie McKinna.

Some encouraging runs, but it has the be said, the number of names missing from the womens 60 is disappointing. I guess a lot of people are giving indoors a miss due to the 5yr cycle just gone.

The three outdoor champs this summer possibly more of a factor?

Our top male sprinters all seem to be giving it a miss too.

Jessie Knight made it look easy in qualifying for the women's 400m, well ahead of European junior silver medallist Mary John.

Good run by Thomas Somers, indoor PB, second fastest Brit this year behind Ed Faulds.

I'd love to be proved wrong, but I can't say I'm expecting much from this men's TJ.

It's a sad, sad state of affairs for men's triple jump right now in the UK. The only hope it seems is Daniel Falode, and he's not here.

Ok, maybe I was being a bit harsh since 17 meter man Ben Williams is competing, but he's not been in his 2019 form for awhile now.

Since 2019 in fact and that was the only year he ever jumped over 17.

And unfortunately seems to have injured himself today.

Some quietly impressive runs in the 400s, Hannah Williams and Tom Somers in particular

Super run from Jeremiah Azu, 6.56 pb and top of the UK rankings.

Jeremiah Azu with a great new PB of 6.56 to beat Andrew Robertson in the 2nd semi final of the 60m!

That moves Azu up to =21st in the world this year, and to =18th on the UK all time list
