Pathetic comment. Big difference between a 12500p permanent seater and your ridiculous remark about 50000. A world championship deserves at least a decent amount. of seats In any event your remark about a 50000 seater would never get filled How the fuck do you know that. The Coliseum will certainly manage it in 28 fixed
Have you joined the mystery crew.. every time philipo writes anything we attack and of course disagree. 😒😒😒As if I care!!
What would be the point in the Yanks building a 50000 capacity stadium if, outside of one week of the World Championships, it never gets remotely close to being filled? Eugene may be the one city in the US where the sport is prominent but it only has a population of 168,000 which is about the size of Reading.

Personally, I think all future competitions should be held in a cavernous dome like Doha, where they have 45,000 permanent seats but 35,000 of them are empty. Because, you see, it is the permanency of the seats that is important.
Having events at places where they use temporary seating like Hayward is for fools. Fools like Birmingham next year. Or the Gold Coast in 2018. Or at London Stadium. And let's not forget half the test cricket grounds in the UK. Fools, the lot of them.

I'd rather have a small stadium in a town where athletics is loved than a big stadium that will struggle to be filled.

I assumed the team management were looking to put as many fresh legs in as possible for the final so I’m sure that Pipi and Williams will go in. Nielsen was unconvincing and a 50.9 leg on third when she was the freshest one there was not as good as I was hoping.
