Erriyon Knighton wasn't really part of the race. Still, 4th place as a 17 year-old, running 19.93, in an Olympic 200 m final, is pretty darned impressive.

Hurrah great and deserved by de grasse. Wow the yanks are getting it after the usual boasting.Lots of athletes brought their best but I cannot recall so many under and over performances.

To be fair, the men's 200 was one event where the Americans form didn't drop that much, although Lyles was a slight disappointment.
