That was a totally stacked semi. Warholm told Benjamin who was boss there.

You reckon? I though Warholm looked like he was putting more into that than Benjamin.

Maybe, but he stopped Benjamin beating him. We'll have to see who can pull it out in the final.

Warholm can run a lot quicker on the first 300 if he wants.

Another South American Record for dos Santos! 47.31. Samba's best time for a long time, 47.47.

                  Brilliant PB for Sibilio, 47.93,.

                    • Samba stepping through hurdles, still ran sub 47.5. Dos Santos is looking very impressive to win that semifinal in another Area record, 47.31. Sibilio with a late charge goes sub 48 seconds for the first time, 47.93. Becomes the 12th European to go under that barrier all time, and the 2nd Italian, behind 1999 world champion and Italian record holder, Fabrizio Mori (47.54)

                      • If Samba doesn't hit a hurdle in the final he could cause a real shock.

                        • Disaster for former world junior 400m hurdles champion, Jaheel Hyde, hitting the 8th barrier and falls... no chance to qualify from a leading position.
