Also, it's pretty mind-blowing that 1:59.28 (Rodgers' time in the final semi) wasn't fast enough for a non-automatic time. (6 runners in that last semifinal all ran under 2 minutes btw)

The changing of the old guard in the women's 800 m? Rodgers just scraping through, Almanza out, Wilson out, Sum didn't even make the semifinals, Meanwhile, two 19-year-olds and a 23/24 year-old (Reekie) are leading contenders for medals in the final on Tuesday. Crickey.
