Nice to see GB record a solid time to show what they are capable of - for what it is worth it was the 5th fastest team time, which is probably where they deserved to be on form. Think, had things gone absolutely perfectly they might have scraped a bronze but even that would have been a tall order.

The improvements in time in the TP are 400m H level crazy though - The 4 minute barrier was only broken in 2000. Then I remember back in 2012 that cycling nuts like me were astounded when GBR beat 3:52. The Aussies beat 3:50 in 2018 but it had taken 18 years to drop 10 seconds from 3:59 to 3:49.
In 3 years since then, they've sliced another 7 seconds off it. I shudder to think what we're going to see in Paris.
