This year 18-year-old Talitha Diggs ran 50.74s over 400m in the NCAA. Her mother is four times US Olympian Joetta Clark-Diggs and her aunt is three times Olympian Hazel Clark.

Not a blood relative, but wouldn't her aunt by marriage be multiple Olympian and former 400m World Champ Jearl Miles-Clark.

And sitting in 106th place in our all time decathlon rankings is Adrian Hemery whose Dad was unquestionably great.
So sad to learn of Cameron Burrell's death. How awful for the family. Found this article just from last year: https://m.scooper.news/sl/2020/10/05...amily/11817446

Time to revive this! New year, new crop!

Bershawn Jackson’s daughter (don’t know the name) competing in Cali per Rob Walker.
Bob Weir’s daughter Jillian competing in the Hammer in Brum for Canada.

I think Bershawn Jackson's son (would be younger than Shawnti) featured on a Youtube video a while back running a spectacular indoor 200m relay leg.

You read it here first! Well, probably after I myself read it in one of LuckySpikes’ posts.

Jackson Cantwell, the son of Christian Cantwell and Teri Steer, two Olympians, who at 13 has thrown the 4kg shot 19.07 and 1kg discus 60.73. He's already 6'8 and 260lbs, and equally precocious at basketball and American football.

Noticed yesterday that young British cyclist Lukas Nerurkar did really well on his senior debut….any relation to marathon runner Richard? It’s hardly a common name, but I couldn’t find anything about it.

Son of, by the looks of it.

AUGUST 2014: In April this year, at the age of 13, Almi Nerurkar won the under-15 category of the Brighton Marathon Mini Mile in a time of 5 minutes and 29 seconds. A week later she proved she was …

Seems like the entire family are sporting in some way.

Richard and Dovile Kilty's 6 year old son is very close to the world age best for LJ held by Erling Haaland.

Ha, I didn't know Georgie Clarke was related to Ron. Unfortunately, she was a classic example of an amazing junior who didn't have much of a senior career - too much too soon it seems. I think she still holds the World age bests at 1500 for ages 13 through to 16.

Lots of injuries IIRC, at least some probably the result of too much hard training too young.

I see Lena Millonig won last weekend's Austrain cross counrty championships. She is the daughter of Dietmar Millonig (Who won Gold at European Indoors 3000m in 1986).
