Yeah, the PNW is having a crazy heatwave this week. It's usually the most British area of the US - reliably rainy and relatively cool, by US standards at least!

*Hopefully* this is only a temporary blip and come summer 2022 the temperatures will be more to the usual levels in the Pacific North-West... but then again... climate change and all that entails....

35 degree air temps... 50 degree Celsius radiating off the track... no thanks. Delay was the right call. Might explain some of the sprint times though....

35 degree weather - dangerous for fans and distance runners, *amazing* for running insanely fast sprint times.

So much for finishing with a relatively early live stream on the final day ... Due to the heat it's all been delayed by 5 hours.

Gwen Berry did a podium protest at the Pan Am Games a couple of years ago too. Good for her.

My prediction: 1) Knighton, 2) Bednarek, 3) Lyles

Any speculation for the men’s 200?
for me Knighton, lyles and bendarek - just think it’s a wee too much for kerley from the inside Lane

If you're okay with ESPN, I'm guessing it is this - https://www.espn.com/olympics/tracka...k-field-trials. Like you, I'm not going to click on that other link.

The Men's 5000m final is at 6pm UK time. Live YouTube stream for that due at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzE-kzTtnas

    Then the remaining 5 track finals (Hep 800, W 400H, W 800, M 1500 & M 200) are on from midnight until 1am tonight.

Possible WR in the 400H? McLaughlin looked very comfortable running 53.03 in the semis.
