  • i set out the facts of the 24 athletes names that occurred in the Hengelo meet the other night. How crazy the improvements were and in some cases by athletes that had no previous form acc to the WA site, Profiles section, Progression details. its utterly outrageous that somehow or other my factual post comes up with "unapproved".

As others have said, this is almost certainly something in the forum code that is flagging the post, not manual censorship. This isn't Track and Field News.

If it was mainly a list of non-European names, the software might have misread it as gobbledegook which can be a flag for spam.

  • wonder if the shoes and wavelength stuff may produce the same plethora of PBs when the Kenyan Trials start next week

The names are certainly tongue twisters. The point for thought is the amount of improvement at events which demand so much time; non African athletes seem to need so much time for improvement. If I am honest I do worry about random out of season testing in Ethiopia.

      • Good afternoon all, this is my first post. I am looking forward to Diamond League from Italy tonight. Hoping to see a bunch of sub 13's in the 12 and a half lapper.

Welcome, Aussiestatman ! Another distance fan here. I've seen a load of your road race "preview" threads on the LetsRun forum!

McLeod looked pretty good in the men's hurdles too.

                  • Hassan still in incredible form.

Don't like her. Something doesn't smell right. 10000m WR to that in 3 days...?

Incredible, performance, mind you - Muir did nothing wrong, just not at the same level (with a 3:55) which is mad.

                  • A perfect race and European record for Ingebrigtsen.

Great to get convicted drug cheat Mourhit off the books.

                  • Cracking 5000 ! Big breakthroughs too for Mohamed Katir, 12:50 (taking 6s off Bezabeh's Spanish NR) and Justyn Knight, 12:51.

                    • Notable big PBs further down the Women's 1500 results ... European indoor champ Elise Vanderelst with a 3s PB, 4:02.63 and a Belgian NR. Also Gaia Sabbatini (ITA), 4:04.23, taking 4s off her PB but agonsingly 0.03s off the Olympic standard. However, she's 34th on the Road To Tokyo out of a quota of 45 and sure to rise a few more places after tonight.
