        • Very messed up 800m, none of the Brits had a day to boast about.

Generally unimpressive. I hope the trials isn't run like that.

        • Camacho-Quinn looking good in the 100m hurdles, a new meeting record of 12.44

          • Comfortable win for Reekie. World champion Nakaayi doesn't look great atm.

Women’s 800m a lot better, British trio of Reekie, Muir, Baker imposed themselves. Good competitive race.

Matthew Hudson-Smith faded away something shocking there,

              Impressive from Jake Wightman.

              Dinah Asher-Smth 10.93. Pretty good, but….

Daryll Neita 11.04 PB, also good.

With Neits running like she is, GB have their two fastest women ever on 2 and 4 in the relay. Who are the other two going to be?

Indeed. They both ran like plonkers for position. It does make me wonder what nasty surprises are in store for us in the men and womens 800/1500m races in Trials. Something weird will happen. Plenty of speed by laura in the last 100 these days but in a fast race, I still wonder: great by Neita. Onto Rome guys. Things getting interesting!!

              • Good meeting in Nashville tonight.

W 400H: 1 Sydney McLaughlin 52.83 WL on her debut this season over the distance!
                M 400: 1 Steven Gardner 45.05
W 800: 1 Shannon Osika 2:00.60 PB, beating Price & Southerland, both 1:58-high/1:59-low this season
                M 1500: 1 Clayton Murphy 3:38.06
                M SP: 1 Tom Walsh 22.00
                M 400H: 1 Trevor Bassitt 48.80 PB
                W 1500: 1 Dani Aragon 4:05.46 (2.2s PB); 2 Jenny Simpson 4:06.18 SB

That website that I linked to for the ESPN stream is a keeper I think. Great picture quality and absolutely no buffering! Just the job for those without BT Sport who want to watch the NCAA Championships this week and also very promising for the US Olympic Trials starting in 11 days' time. By the way, the coverage on NBC & NBCSN for those Trials is comprehensive and they're showing every track final live (I haven't yet checked how much of the heats/semis they're covering.)

Osika may be the joker in the pack for the USA very soon;already done a 4 minutes 1500m this year.
Lucky, watchathletics gets the results up pretty well ; starting to update results with it more and more.
Can you refresh my mind ? what website did you link to the ESPN site, by the way?

                  • Tom Walsh building up nicely with that 22m for a peak at the right time.
Very Impressed with our Current top 3 Male Hammer throwers - seen a few streaming comps with Taylor in and looks in control and ready for a BIG throw ie 80m+ to add Nick Miller Casually lobbing 78m with heavy hammers ( on instagram) exciting times.

Cannot Applaud the new 10k WR - to think we all Vomited at the thought of Turtle Soup and the Chinese Crop - how is this any different - ridiculous improvement.
Also pleased to see the face of Quorn not get a Qualifier - seem to be missing the Salazar ingredients and returning back to his Natural best......

Yes, I think a year ago people were thinking the 5 contenders for the team would be Houlihan, Simpson, Purrier, Hiltz & Sinclaire Johnson. However, Hiltz has been poor lately as has Johnson over 1500 (though her 800s have been pretty good). So, I do think Osika will be the one battling with Simpson for that 3rd place behind Houlihan & Purrier.

A good dark horse might be Heather Maclean - sub-2 this year and in the 1500 I think there's more in the tank for her.

The ESPN stream is on the 123tvnow website. When I post on Tuesday/Wednesday for the NCAA live streams it'll be linked under "Unofficial stream".

No he is just past his time: you will never see a British double double in the 5/10K in the future

                          • Would probably be more indicative of any wrong doing if Mo was still belting out world class performances a la Gatlin, who definitely is 100% clean now....
