Good run from Reekie. Also very good from Tracey, and Ellie Baker in the B race.
But the most significant would seem to be Muir, finishing a fast 8 way faster than all the 8 specialists. That is... fast enough. It means that she has now developed another tactical option for champs 15s.
Also a 1500 PB for Holly Archer, I think.

It’s tough to take any enjoyment from Richardson’s runs considering who she’s associated with
As for Richardson.... yeeeaah, not exactly great that she's being trained by unrepentant drug cheat Dennis Mitchell....

Here's Andrejczyk's 3rd all time 71.40 JT.
Sun's out, sky's blue, scenic backdrop and a spear that's just floating for miles. Javelin throwing doesn't get much better than that!

Was very interesting to see DK Metcalf (wide receiver in american football) get a lane at the Golden Games.
We absolutely need to see more of this. It puts to bed the argument when you see people posting the top speeds of players in other sports and insult athletics by comparing it to sub 10 runners.
Full respect to the man for trying to back it up, 10.37 is very handy as well. Would love to see this in the UK, I specifically remember my head spinning when it was alleged that a 16 year old Theo Walcott could run 10.20 over 100m (not on po10, shock)
This is the sort of exposure UK athletics could really do with. Richard Kilty offered Hector Bellerin out a few years ago for a race after people claimed he could hit the same speeds as Bolt.

Several Olympic qualifying times in the 10,000s at Track Meet in California last night.
In the women's, Andrea Seccafien (CAN) led the way with a 31:13.94, demolishing Natasha Wodak's NR by 28 seconds! Former NCAA XC champ Ednah Kurgat (now USA) ran a 31:21 PB, followed very closely by Sara Hall, also a big PB. The best run by Kurgat for years after looking quite underwhelming ever since that 2017 NCAA title. Agonisingly for Makena Morley (recent Colorado graduate), she was 0.19s outside the standard but did run a PB by 63 seconds!
Now 14 American women have the 10,000 standard.
Both Jess Judd & Laura Galvan (MEX) were close to making it 2 Olympic Standards in a week after both getting the 5000 standard at Mt Sac last weekend.
In the men's Zouhair Talbi (MAR) won in 27:20.61 and Emmanuel Bor, 27:22, & Joe Klecker, 27:23, increased the number of American men with the standard.

noticeable that the so called fans on that other Forum don't mention that two brits, not the wonder yanks, won the 800m and 1500m for women; such w*nkers that they are unable to appreciate that there are other fine athletes around; That what track nationalism does for you. as i have spent years saying.
