Who cares about the cheat? Jodie Williams won the race in a season's best 23.03.

She's become quite consistent this year. It remains to be seen if she can sustain this level until the Olympics, but she's starting to look like a serious contender for the Olympic title.

Slower in the final, but another sub 10.80.

    • 1.58 outdoor PB and the win for Jemma Reekie.

      • Incredible mens 400m hurdles race. Rai Benjamin with a 47.13 world lead in his first race over the barriers this year, breaking Ed Mose's 40 year old track record in the process... and behind him a host of PBs and national records, including 20 year old Alison Dos Santos setting a new South American and Brazilian record of 47.68... Not sure there are many folks that age who have ever run sub 48 in the history of the event too!

her finish was outstanding and the the final was worth better than 10.70 without the adverse wind

a very tasty season ahead in the 400m hurdles; nothing yet by Warholm.

excellent race from reekie and it was good to see Muir not going crazy and making the pace for others; her finish in the last 70 metres as good as i have seen from her.

              • Oliver Hoare looked good and has been in excellent form at this stage of the season; i am always very mindful that the globals need two or three races on a few days and many track performances we see are in meets with one race only.

                • Ujah not at all bad after some disappointment over the last few years; Hudson- smith has not got it for me, and i will be a bit surprised if we get any entrants for the 400m in Tokyo.

Hudson-Smith is indeed perpetually frustrating. He had Norman going away from him at 200m and seemed to push too hard from 200 to 300, then lost it all on the home straight. Doesn't seem to be in awful shape, but not sub-45 at the moment...

                • Sember the American running for us must be thinking that maybe she could have qualified for the American team this year. ( saved all that schlepping to England for the trials)

                  • After their domination of the sprints for a number of years, the Jamaican men look as if they will do little or nothing this year over the sprints.

                    • Sha'carri Richardson is like a bullet!

Brilliant depth in the M 400H ... remember all those years not so long ago when the World Lead at the end of the year would be around 47.6? Now there's probably 5 guys going to be running faster than that this year!

Seven women ran sub-2 in that 800 and one at 2:00.01 ! It's incredibly rare to see that in a one-day meeting outside of the DL.

Adelle Tracey bang on the nose with the Olympic standard, 1:59.50.

Good to see Elle Purrier going sub-4 and Shannon Osika running a huge race too for a 1 second PB, sub-4:01. Purrier faces a tricky choice for the Trials & Tokyo - the 15 or the 5?

..remember when Dai Green won the Worlds in 48.1...!

                    • The big 3 in the men’s 400 hurdles is looking like it could become the big 5, Dos Santos can’t stop improving and McMaster looked better than he has for years. 47.13 must be the quickest opener by any athlete ever.

It’s tough to take any enjoyment from Richardson’s runs considering who she’s associated with

i agree but she is certainly looking amazing so far with two, 10.70s especially against the wind in the final.
