      • So many false starts in the hurdles, reminds me of the bad old days when you got three chances each...

        • NR for Lewandowski in 2nd, 3:35.71 and a PB for Neil Gourley, 3:35.79.

Great night for the Brits except Kyle Langford but we don't need to worry about him now that we've got Giles & Webb tearing it up!

          • For the first time in many decades, the BBC bumps the snooker because the athletics is over-running. 🤣

The nation is no longer "Snooker Loopy"?

              • The middle distance races at the Champs are going to be fire with everyone fighting for places. Am hoping we get steeplechasers joining the party and we can fill every place, because some very very good athletes will be left at home.

i think we are all mindful that the current excellence of our mid distance performers are a long way, timewise, from the outdoor quals, and possible
DL races of June and early July. But whatever its very comforting after a long wait to see such positivity and confidence in the two middle distance events; The European indoors with two races in quick succession will be illuminating.

                    • Indoor middle distance isn’t usually my bag but wow!

Philipo’s right in urging caution but definitely exciting. Strong domestic competition will only increase standards.

                        • Some events rather more competitive than others. Only one entrant in the men's pole vault and heptathlon, and the women's 800.
