IMO someone who never really fulfilled her potential, mainly due to injuries.

Injury seemed to strike just as she seemed ready to step up to the big league.

PSD would have won a medal at the 2013 World Champs, she was in that good a shape that season and had breezed through qualifying in Moscow with little effort.... Then she awkwardly hit that hurdle with her knee on the back straight and rather than stop running, she carried on to the finish, coming 7th and, without realising it, wrecking her career there after. The damage she did to herself in completing the race meant she never hurdled again and the years of operations and recovery meant she was never fully fit for her attempts at re-starting her athletics life as a flat 400 runner.

      An absolute crying shame.

A fully fit PSD was, in my opinion, fully capable of going very close to sub 53 sec for the 400 hurdles, and possibly challenged Sally Gunnell's British record.
