Added to the latest document above for Saturday evening is:
    • Stumptown (Portland, OR, USA) - International mid-distance meeting; The High Performance section of the meeting is on YouTube. There's some nice fields, notably in the 800 'A' races. The Men's includes Langford, Charlie Hunter, Hocker, Wynne & Centrowitz and the Women's Klosterhalfen, Nia Akins, Michaela Meyer & Laurie Barton. Klosterhalfen is also entered in the 1500 'A' race with Sinclaire Johnson and some good 'B' level Americans. The 'B' race isn't bad either with Raevyn Rogers, Christina Aragon & Madie Boreman. Sifan Hassan is time trialling in the 5000

Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 24th June to Sunday 25th June:

There's the possibility of one or two more events being added over the weekend.

    Saturday
    • Pacific Distance Carnival & Canadian 10,000m Championships (Langley, BC, CAN) - Most of Canada's best are missing from the Men's 10,000. Ben Preisner looks like the favourite although Juan Luis Barrios (MEX) is also entered. The Women's 10,000 is deeper though with Wodak, Debues-Stafford (making her debut at this distance), Leslie Sexton, Cleo Boyd & Caroline Pomerleau who had a big breakthrough at the 10k road championships last month. Sarah Inglis is pacing this race for 32:00. Some of the supporting races are OK quality but nothing jumps out
    • Final day of the Kenyan Championships (Nairobi, KEN) - Included again in the document below for convenience
    • U20 Four Countries Match - CZE-HUN-POL-SVK (Banská Bystrica, SVK) - I like the look of this and, with European U20 Champs qualification still on the line, each of the nations are fielding some promising athletes
    • International Hofer Pole Vault Meeting (Hof, GER) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; This street meeting was enjoyable last year, well presented on the live stream and featured decent international fields. I don't know yet who's competing this year
    • ? Gran Premio Ordizia - International Meeting Jose Antonio Peña (Ordizia, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; Within the last 2 or 3 years there's been a bit of a boom in the number of good/decent international meetings in Spain and this is another one that's done a good job of assembling some nice line-ups. For example, the Men's 400 includes Baboloki Thebe and Gardeo Isaacs (RSA; 45.15 PB) as well as 2 good Spaniards & 2 Nigerians. The 1500 is also quite good, headed by Jesus Gomez and Matthew Ramsden. On the Women's side there's a pretty good 800 with Almanza, Vivian Jebiwot, Deborah Rodriguez (URU) & Pizzo (FRA). There's 4 B/C level Brits competing here
    • NYC Grand Prix (New York, USA) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; The big news here is a possible sighting of the lesser-spotted Athing Mu (800) although I won't believe it until she actually toes the startline
    Saturday to Sunday
    • Bauhaus Junioren-Gala (Mannheim, GER) - The usual here, good fields hailing from a variety of nations with European U20 Champs qualification standards on the line for many (but not all, e.g., theres also Aussies, South Africans, Brazilians etc)
    • Days 2 & 3 of the European Team Championships 1st Division (Chorzów, POL) - Included again in the document below for convenience
All the details and links at https://www.dropbox.com/s/17zdmd01k9...06-25.odt?dl=0

Next major post on Monday evening for Tuesday's Ostrava Golden Spike (Conti Tour Gold) and possibly some Wednesday meetings too.

Just to confirm the Team Champs are on the iPlayer. Which I’d always recommend over Eurovision because it does support pause, rewind, FF etc.

Live streams/broadcasts for Friday 23rd June:

    Friday to Saturday
    • Days 2 & 3 of the Kenyan Championships (Nairobi, KEN) - For convenience, I've included this again in the document below
    Friday to Sunday
    • European Team Championships 1st Division (Chorzów, POL) - With the likes of Italy, Spain & Poland fielding almost full-strength teams, there's loads of great athletes on view here to add to others like Femke Bol
    Friday
    • Ethiopian 10,000m Trials for World Championships (Nerja, ESP) - Barega, Aregawi, Worku, Haji ... Taye, Tsegay, Alem, Gebreselama, Lemlem Hailu, Gebrzihair ... What more could you want?! Gidey, of course, has the wildcard as World Champ and Kejelcha must be focusing on the 5000. We know the Ethiopian Federation don't like athletes doubling. There's also an undercard of mid-distance events here but they're Spanish athletes only and there's no big names competing
All the details and links at https://www.dropbox.com/s/tvmjyqa1ue...06-23.odt?dl=0

Next major post tomorrow (Friday) afternoon for the weekend's streams including the NYC Grand Prix (Conti Tour Gold) and the Junioren-Gala in Mannheim. It's a much quieter weekend than of late, no doubt due to not many European Conti Tour meetings being arranged to clash with the European Team Championships 1st Division.

Live streams/broadcasts for Thursday 22nd June:

Both the Meeting Internacional Ciudad de Málaga and the Kenyan Championships are included speculatively. However, they were both live streamed last year so late streaming links/announcements may well appear.

    Thursday
    • Final day of European Team Championships 3rd Division (Chorzów, POL) - See the post above
    • Final day of European Team Championships 2nd Division (Chorzów, POL) - See the post above
    • ? Meeting Internacional Ciudad de Málaga (Málaga, ESP) - Athletes from 20 countries are competing here. Most of the fields are decent with a couple of good ones such as the Men's Hammer and the Women's 400 that includes Roxana Gomez (CUB), other good women from Ecuador & Brazil and Rose Mary Almanza
    Thursday to Saturday
    • ? Kenyan Championships (Nairobi, KEN) - There is an almost complete lack of info about this - although that's not entirely out of character for the Kenyan Federation! Rather than it being the trials for the World Championships it is instead the trials for the African Games in March 2024

Next major post tomorrow (Thursday) evening for Friday's action including the 1st Division of the European Team Championships and hopefully the Ethiopian 10,000m Trials being held in Spain.

Live streams/broadcasts starting on Tuesday 20th June:

    Tuesday to Thursday
    • European Team Championships 3rd Division (Chorzów, POL) - Even in the 3rd Division there's a number of very good athletes competing, bolstered by the Irish & Austrian teams but also including Luiza Gega, Lonah Salpeter (racing each other in the 5000), Marija Vukovic, Amel Tuka and Nahuel Carabana (Andorra) who brought his Steeple NR down to 8:26 on Saturday. The top 3 teams will be promoted to the 2nd Division for 2025
    • European Team Championships 2nd Division (Chorzów, POL) - Don't sleep on this Division! There's a ton of very good athletes competing plus some big stars such as Mahuchikh, Bekh-Romanchukh (TJ & LJ), Ceh, Gudzius & Marusa Mismas. The top 3 and bottom 3 teams change divisions for 2025
All the details and links at https://www.dropbox.com/s/2152o8pui3...06-20.odt?dl=0

Next major post on Wednesday evening for the Kenyan Championships starting on Thursday, the international meeting in Málaga and also Friday's action including the 1st Division of the European Team Championships and hopefully the Ethiopian 10,000m Trials being held in Spain.

Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 17th June to Sunday 18th June:

I did have the time/energy for teaser notes this weekend so my try-out of doing it differently is postponed.

    Saturday to Monday
    • Days 3 to 5 of the Indian National Inter State Senior Championships (Bhubaneswar, IND) - Included again in the document below; See 3 posts above for teaser notes
    Saturday to Sunday
    • Italian U23 Championships (Agropoli, ITA) - Given that these are the trials for the European U23s it looks like this generation of U23 Italian athletes maybe aren't as strong as their recent generation of youngsters. However, there are still some very good athletes competing such as Iapichino, Lorenzo Simonelli (110H), Marco Ricci (200) & Veronica Besana and Elena Carraro (both 100H)
    • Czech U20 & U18 Championships (Prague, CZE) - The quality is always decent for these championships and they have a few outstanding prospects such as Adela Holubova (U18 W 800), Pavel Vinduska (U20 M 1500), Stepan Stefko (U20 M 110H) & Natalie Millerova (U20 W 1500). The Czech Federation's live streams are very, very good
    • International Combined Events Meeting Arona (Arona, Tenerife, ESP) - This meeting was first cancelled and then back on. In the meantime it lost its World Tour Gold meeting status and so the fields are very slim on top quality. The line-ups are international but Noor Vidts and Ruben Gado (FRA) are way ahead of the rest on PBs
    • Ratingen Mehrkampf-Meeting (Ratingen, GER) - World Combined Events Tour Gold meeting; There's no such depth issues at Ratingen with 10 women having scored 6200+ and 6 men with 8200+ PBs. The fields are headed by Nafi Thiam and Niklas Kaul. There's no Brits entered but Kate O'Connor (IRL) is competing
    • England Athletics U20 & U23 Open Championships (Chelmsford, GBR) - Saving me some time, RunUnlimited and others have done a good job previewing this in a thread elsewhere on the forum!
    Saturday
    • Kuortane Games (Kuortane, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; This isn't a terribly strong Silver meeting but there's a lot of events that look competitive. The strongest field is in the Men's Javelin with 6 throwers over 84m. On the Women's side the fields for the 100H, Javelin & Pole Vault are good
    • Spandauer International High Jump Meeting (Zitadelle Spandau, Berlin-Spandau, GER) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; Against the backdrop of the castle, Morgan Lake heads a small field that also includes Jossie Graumann & Wiktoria Miaso (POL; 1.90 PB)
    • Next Generation Athletics (Nijmegen, NED) - This year this meeting doesn't have the strength of fields it usually does but the 800 'A' races are good, especially the Men's with Ermias Girma (ETH), Charlie Grice and 2 good Botswanans
    • Track Night Vienna (Vienna, AUT) - There's good fields in each of the multi-national 'A' races here - 800s, Steeples & 5000s with the 5000s being the headline races. In the Men's 5000 'A' race there's Boniface Kibiwott, Isaac Kimeli, Lobalu, Emmanuel Bor (USA), Paul Chelimo & Awet Habte as well as a number of Japanese. In the Women's race Thackery & Ockenden are again entered (after last weekend's DNS's) and will face a good field that includes Ludovica Cavalli, Alina Reh, Joy Cheptoyek (UGA; 30:47 10km), Ednah Kurgat (USA) and some good young Spaniards & Italians (although Cavalli & Cristina Ruiz are double-entered here and in Nice). There's 3 Brits in the Men's Steeple and Learmonth & Randolph go in the 800 'A' race. The wavelights are being set in the 'A' races at Budapest standard paces
    • Brněnské laťky Olympie Brno (Brno, CZE) - International Women's High Jump meeting; WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Nicola Olyslagers heads the line-up here that also includes Bruus (EST), Junnila, Gusin (GRE) and Brits, Zialor & Anson
    • International Athletics Meeting Anhalt (Dessau-Roßlau, GER) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; There's good depth in many of the events here and a sprinkling of big stars. Kaczmarek faces Bolingo in the 400 and Lightfoot & Kendricks face-off in the PV. There's 5 Brits due to compete in the sprints. In the past the live stream has been guilty of focusing too much on the local stars (e.g., Mihambo tying her shoelace, Vetter looking pensive, Mihambo sitting down etc etc) with the result that a couple of track races haven't been shown. They'd better not do that again!
    • Meeting Nikaia (Nice, FRA) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Last held 22 years ago, this famous meeting was host to several world records including the classic Cram-Aouita 1500 in 1985. For the revival they've attracted really nice fields in most of the events. For examples, the Women's Long Jump includes Vuleta, Sawyers, Hilary Kpatcha (FRA) & Vicente. There's a small but good field for the Women's 5000 that includes Markovc, Mariana Machado, Judith Kiyeng and maybe (see Track Night Vienna) Ludovica Cavalli. Sam Tanner (NZL) and Andrew Coscoran lead a 1500 field that also includes Adrian Ben and Dutch sensation, Niels Laros. The line-up for the Men's Steeple is strong with 10 athletes with sub-8:22 PBs, including Conseslus Kipruto and Geordie Beamish. In total there's 7 Brits due to compete
    • Corrida Internationale de Langueux (Langueux, FRA) - International 10km road race; WA Label race; As always, the line-up for the Men's race is strong and features defending champion, Geoffrey Kipchumba, Morhad Amdouni, Emmanuel Bor (KEN), Stanley Kamau and a host of other very good athletes. The Women's race includes four sub-31 athletes, headed by Violah Jepchumba
    Sunday
    • Opole High Jump Festival (Opole, POL) - The Men's field is the pick of the 2 competitions here with Kobielski, Zayas & Protsenko. Maria Zhodzik heads a mostly domestic Women's line-up
    • Poznań Athletics Grand Prix - Czesław Cybulski Memorial (Poznań, POL) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; The standout events here look like the 800s that close the meeting but there's some quality athletes in other events too. In the Men's 800 Ben Pattison faces Jesus Tonatiu Lopez (1.44.70 in Castellon this week) & Rozmys. In the Women's Alex Bell goes up against Horvat, Shanahan, Bobocea & Wielgosz. Sarah MacDonald is in the 1500 against the likes of Tracey, Maki & Dani Jones (USA). Ten Brits are entered overall
    • Gothenburg Grand Prix (Gothenburg, SWE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; This is probably one of the weaker line-ups for a Swedish GP meeting in recent years. However, there's still pretty good fields for the Men's 5000, 110H and Women's Shot Put. KJT is entered in the 100H and Long Jump
    • Fly Olympia (Olympia, GRE) - International Men's Street Pole Vault meeting; WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; There's a fairly good field for this including Karalis, Wooten, Broeders, Cormont, Stecchi & Collet
    • Meeting Stanislas (Nancy, FRA) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; There's good line-ups for many of the events here with the 1500s in particular catching the eye. In the Men's, Stonier & Giles go up against Reynold Cheruiyot, Tshite, Jesus Gomez, Debjani, Charles P-T (CAN) and Nader (POR). In the Women's Reekie, Courtney-Bryant & Baker face a field of good Europeans as well as Edinah Jebitok. Other events looking good are the Men's LJ, Women's PV and the Women's 800 with Sekogdiso, Vivian Kiprotich (1:58.8 recently), Gajanova (sub-2 for the first time in Paris last week), Raharolahy & Boffey

Live streams/broadcasts for Friday 16th June:

Unfortunately, the Heino Lipp Memorial in Estonia (CT Bronze) is behind a paywall.

    Friday to Monday
    • Days 2 to 5 of the Indian National Inter State Senior Championships (Bhubaneswar, IND) - Included again in the document below; See the post above for teaser notes
    Friday
    • Horst Mandl Memorial (Graz, AUT) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; As is often the case at these Austrian meetings, the Men's Discus is the standout event, Weisshaidinger perhaps making a big effort to encourage his mates to attend. The Men's 100 isn't bad including Guliyev, Bailey, Ogunlewe & Amo-Dadzie. In the Women's events, the 100 Hurdles has some pretty good depth to it and includes Michelle Harrison (CAN; 12.82 SB) & the Slovenians, Nika Glojnaric and Joni Tomicic Prezelj. Glojnaric broke through the 13s barrier for the first time last week, also in Austria

Next major post tomorrow (Friday) evening for a packed weekend including a ton of good Continental Tour meetings, 800s to 5000s at Track Night Vienna, the Ratingen Mehrkampf-Meeting, probably the Corrida de Langueux 10km and the England Athletics U20 & U23 Open Championships.

This year I'm not listing the 2 US High School National championships (run by competing shoe companies) because there's so much athletics going on elsewhere.

    Wednesday
    • Gran Premio Diputación de Castellón - Memorial José Antonio Cansino (Castellón, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; The line-ups for a lot of the events here are pretty good and there's a number of big names due to compete. For example, the Men's 200 includes Hortelano, Husillos & Yancarlos Martinez (DOM), there's a good Men's 1500 with Abate (ETH), Fontes & Denissel (FRA) and also some nice, competitive international fields for the Women's Long Jump, 800 & 1500. The closing event is the Men's 5000 headlined by Hagos Gebrhiwet, Salomon Berihu, Ouassim Oumaiz & Abdessmad Oukhelfen
    Thursday to Monday
    • Indian National Inter State Senior Championships (Bhubaneswar, IND) - Most of India's best are competing here with several interrupting their European tours to do so. With their national championships not happening until October it looks like these Inter State championships might be their trials for the team for Worlds and also for the Asian Championships and Asian Games? One of the match-ups includes Parul Chaudhary against good 21yo Ankita in the Women's 5000. Chaudary ran a 15:10 PB in the US recently and Ankita ran her 15:33 PB in Japan 6 weeks ago. Chaudhary is also entered in the Steeple where she has a 9:29.5 PB from 3 weeks ago
    Thursday
    • Bislett Games - Oslo Diamond League (Oslo, NOR)

Live streams/broadcasts for Tuesday 13th June:

Both of Tuesday's meetings have an extensive pre-programme that features several field events and both pre-programmes are also being live streamed/broadcast. However, for that section of the meeting in Turku you'll need a VPN and, inexplicably, it also includes the Women's 800 'A' race (when there's weaker races in the main program, e.g., the M 400H).

    Tuesday
    • Kladno hází a Kladenské Memoriály (Kladno, CZE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; This is always a nice meeting and they pay particular attention to assembling pretty strong line-ups for the throws. Of the throwing events, only the Women's Discus isn't being held! For example, in the Women's Javelin there's Kitaguchi, Mitchell, Muze & Ogrodnikova and in the Men's Shot Put, Weir, Stanek, Kokoshko, Lincoln & Toader. The track events and High Jump comps are quite good too. Simbine, Erik Cardoso (BRA), Andy Robertson & Fuchs (AUT) go in the 100. There's a good Men's 800 and, in the Women's equivalent, Boffey goes against Almanza & Maddie Kelly (CAN). The Women's 400 includes Schwab, Vondrova, Pipi and Evelis Aguilar (COL)
    • Paavo Nurmi Games (Turku, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting
All the details and links at https://www.dropbox.com/s/rf3fxvkmxv...06-13.odt?dl=0

Next major post on Tuesday evening for Wednesday's Memorial Jose Antonio Cansino in Castellón, a Conti Tour Challenger meeting which is looking quite good, and also for Thursday's Oslo Diamond League and the start of the Indian National Inter State Championships which features most of India's best athletes.
