Live streams for Friday 18th to Saturday 19th October:

I probably wouldn't usually post links for the Japanese U20/U18 Championships but it's usual to have meetings to watch after the World Championships. Looking at the fields the standard and depth is pretty good in many events.

At the Denka Challenge Cup Michael Norman is running the 200 and Nakaayi & Nayondo are in the W 800 & 1500 respectively.

Next post on Saturday 20th for Sunday's road action - marathons in Amsterdam, Toronto, Lisbon & Poznan; half marathons in Delhi & Lisbon; the Great South Run.

The Military World Games in Wuhan also starts on 22nd October. There's a lot of good athletes involved there - you can peruse the entries via https://results.wuhan2019mwg.cn/inde...?sportcode=ath There should be live streaming for this.

Hopefully on Monday I will be able to confirm streaming for the Military World Games athletics starting on Tuesday.

Next post after that will be on Friday 25th October. Events included are the Frankfurt Marathon & Valencia Half Marathon. Also, over the next couple of weeks there will be a few free-to-watch streams for NCAA Conference Cross Country Championships, including a couple of very good ones such as Pac-12 & West Coast.

Not sure what's going on with the Lisbon Marathon broadcast. It says, "On Air: EDP Maratona de Lisboa 2019" to the right of the video but it's showing other stuff. Technical difficulties maybe but they're not showing a message to that effect.
EDIT 8.40am: Now we have the stream!

Yes, now that most links are banned in posts they've just started posting them in the thread titles!

Live streams for Tuesday 22nd October onwards:

There's some good athletes at the Military World Games track & field, including some world champions. Morning session are early hours for us but the evening sessions start at midday our time. It looks like most of the athletics will be streamed but not all, so it's just a case of clicking through to see if the events you're interested in are being shown or not.

Next post on Friday 25th for the weekend's road & XC action as well as the European Athletics Golden Tracks Awards on Saturday evening.

Tue 22 - Sun 27 Oct Military World Games (Wuhan, CHN)
Time of streams: Various - see CCTV-5 and CCTV-5+ schedules at http://www.sinoepg.net/
Official stream: Some on CCTV-5 at http://tv.cctv.com/live/cctv5/index.shtml AND some on CCTV-5+ at http://tv.cctv.com/live/cctv5plus/index.shtml (VPN needed for both)
Entry lists: go to https://results.wuhan2019mwg.cn/inde...?sportcode=ath then click "Men's Events" or "Women's Events", select an event and then click "Entries by Event"
Startlists & Results: click on events via https://results.wuhan2019mwg.cn/inde...?sportcode=ath
Timetable: https://results.wuhan2019mwg.cn/inde...?sportcode=ath (China 7 hours ahead)

NOTE – The timetable is a bit weird. If an event has a straight final, the final shows on the timetable. However, if an event has one or more rounds you have to click on the first round of the event to see the schedule for the other rounds (including the final).

I had promised some NCAA conference cross country championship action this weekend. There's a whole load of Division 2 championships on Saturday. The GNAC championships are usually streamed but there's no indication of that this year, as yet. Otherwise, the other best ones aren't being streamed for free. So, I'm not going to post any of the lower-quality conferences just for the sake of it. Next weekend, however, there will be a few Division 1 conference championships being streamed.

Next post on Thursday 31st October.

                    • Live streams/broadcasts for Friday 1st November to Tuesday 5th November:

Road races being broadcast/streamed this weekend:
                      Sat -
USA 5km Road Championships (New York)
                      Beijing Marathon
                      Sun -
                      New York City Marathon
                      Istanbul Marathon
                      Porto Marathon
                      Guadalajara (MEX) Marathon

Now that I've found an English language TV guide for CCTV-5 there should be streams for several of the Chinese marathons throughout the year.

Also, there's a few NCAA Division 1 Conference Cross Country championships for you on Friday & Saturday:
                      • Pac-12 - possibly the conference for distance/cross-country featuring Stanford, Colorado, Oregon & Washington amongst others; the Youtube stream is a rolling stream of the channel so the races won't be archived, however you can skip back 12 hours on the stream
                      • West Coast - includes BYU, Portland & San Francisco
                      • SEC - another big one including Arkansas, Ole Miss, Georgia & Tennessee
                      • American (AAC) - more known as a sprinters conference, this features Unis such as UConn, Tulsa & Temple
                      • America East - this conference doesn't often have NCAA superstars (Elinor Purrier was a recent exception) but there's a lot of solid "programs" including New Hampshire, Stony Brook & Albany
                      • Big Ten (highlights on Tuesday) - another top conference featuring the likes of Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota & Ohio State
There's 32 Division 1 conferences in total but many of them don't live stream their XC and there's a few of the other big ones that are on Flotrack or on subscriber channels not available on the internet.

There's also live streams for two Division 3 Conference Championships on Saturday & Sunday - SUNYAC and HCAC.

                        • Live streams for Saturday 9th November:

A quiet weekend on the streaming front. However, the IAAF Cross Country Permit series starts with the Cross de Atapuerca in Spain.
Usually there's England & Wales teams running this but I can't see any mention on their websites this year. Charlotte Arter & Jenny Nesbitt are definitely entered though (I saw a promo photo of them in Burgos).

The only other live stream is the NCAA Division 2 South Central Regional Cross Country Championships. This is a strong regional featuring Adams State & the Colorado schools (Mines, UC-Springs, Mesa etc) amongst others.
