  • Good news, they've changed the TV channel for today's (Friday's) ...
    • Meeting Memorial José Luis Hernández (Pamplona, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; The fields are decent here with most events having at least 2 or 3 good athletes. There's a multi-national field in the Men's 800, headed by Elhassane Moujahid (MAR; 1:44.96 PB). GB's Jack Lawrie goes against two 49-mid Spaniards in the 400 Hurdles. There's good athletes in the field too, including a pretty good Women's Pole Vault which includes 6 nationalities, headed by Xu Huiqin (CHN)
There is also a YouTube stream starting at 3.30pm UK time but I think that might only be for the pre-meeting until the TV broadcast takes over at 6pm. I could be wrong on that though.

    • Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 3rd June to Monday 5th June:

Re the ongoing Japanese Championships, all the weekend's senior track finals are live on NHK G TV and the stream for that is working again. The Japanese Federation has also, very quickly after the events, been uploading TV broadcast recordings of the track finals (without commentary) to their YouTube channel - that's also linked in the document 3 posts above. The Steeple & 5000m videos are abridged coverage though.

A note on the 3 Continental Tour Silver meetings missing from the roster below ... The Racers Grand Prix in Kingston is Pay-per-View for the princely sum of 15 US Dollars. Sod that! I'm awaiting streams for the Music City Track Carnival in Nashville (although the 2 hour TV window won't be available) and the Portland Track Festival is also Pay-per-View at 6 US Dollars.

Sorry, not many teaser notes tonight. It's getting late!

      Saturday to Sunday
      • Days 3 & 4 of the Japanese Championships & U20 Championships (Osaka, JPN) - See 3 posts above
      Saturday
      • Nelson Mandela Bay Half Marathon incl SA Half Marathon Championships (Gqeberha, RSA) - WA Elite Label race
      • Stockholm Marathon (Stockholm, SWE) - WA Label race
      • Sparkassen Gala Regensburg (Regensburg, GER) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting
      • Gran Premio Internacional Marcha Cantones de A Coruña - Trofeo Sergio Vázquez (La Coruña, ESP) - World Race Walking Tour Gold meeting; The most prestigious stop on the RW World Tour and, of course, it's loaded!
      • ? Trofeo Ciudad de Salamanca Memorial Carlos Gil Pérez (Salamanca, ESP)
      • Dromia International Sprint and Relays Meeting (Vari nr Athens, GRE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting
      • European 10,000m Cup (Pacé, FRA) - With no Yasemin Can the head of the Women's race should be more interesting than usual
      • Trond Mohn Games (Bergen, GER) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting
      • České Budějovice Half Marathon (České Budějovice, CZE) - WA Label race
      • Women's 10,000m @ FBK Games (Hengelo, NED) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; A small but loaded field. There's no geo-blocking for this
      Sunday to Wednesday
      • Asian U20 Championships (Yecheon, KOR) - Other than a general list of athletes the specific field info is scant so far. However, I do know that India & Japan are sending strong teams (Japan's numbering 31 before 2 withdrawals) and so I expect other nations will be too. The YouTube channel covering it have provided very coverage of previous athletics events
      Sunday
      • Sendai International Half Marathon (Sendai, JPN) - One of Japan's top road races
      • Albacete Half Marathon (Albacete, ESP) - No info on who's competing but it's usually a pretty good race. The course records are 61:11 and 70:14
      • Janusz Kusociński Memorial (Chorzów, POL) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting
      • International Meeting Città di Lucca (Lucca, ITA)

Firstly its time for a quick repeat of this: Thank you LuckySpikes for being awesome.

Secondly, I think the live results for FBK is not yet in your details/links link, so here it is:

Thanks paul, for the nice comment and also for the results link.

Yeah, if the entry/start lists link I provide is adequate I don't usually provide live results links as well. That would just create extra work. When I do provide live results links that's because it's the only place where entry/start lists are available.

    • Added retrospectively on Page 2 of the latest document above is streaming of Saturday's Grand Prix Sudamericano Mario Paz (Cochabamba, Bolivia).

Also added on Page 5 is Sunday's (yet to happen) Grand Prix Sudamericano Julia Iriarte at the same venue.

Both are WA Continental Tour Challenger meetings and feature athletes from 7 South American countries.

Unusually for a South American federation outside Brazil the Bolivian Federation have been very organised with providing the necessary info!

      • Live streams/broadcasts for Tuesday 6th June:

Further to the info I gave 2 posts above, the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships actually start on Wednesday not tomorrow.

        Tuesday to Wednesday
        • Days 3 & 4 of the Asian U20 Championships (Yecheon, KOR) - See 2 posts above. By the way, there are now startlists for this, linked in the relevant document
        Tuesday
        • Meeting Iberoamericano (Huelva, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; There's good line-ups throughout this meeting and maybe the headline event is the Women's 400 with Naser & Kielbasinska. In total there's 9 Brits due to compete including Jonathan Davies (5000), Revee Walcott-Nolan, Erin Wallace (both 1500) & Abigail Ives in the 800 up against the likes of Almanza, Diago, Hering & Ibarzabal
        • Irena Szewinska Memorial (Bydgoszcz, POL) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; Note that the Polish TV coverage starts 90 minutes before the WA stream - I've linked to that in the document and, in future, for the CT Gold meetings (given the streaming situation in the UK) I will also link to the local (unofficial) TV stream if available
All the details and links at https://www.dropbox.com/s/qrg5dc0ev9...06-06.odt?dl=0

Next major post tomorrow (Tuesday) evening for Wednesday's streams ... the Copenhagen Athletics Games & the Jyväskylä Games (both Conti Tour Bronze, live on EA's YouTube) - Copenhagen is looking pretty good and there's a number of Brits competing - the International Golden Roof Challenge in Innsbruck (street PV & LJ), the Birmingham Uni Track & Field Series incl BMC Gold races and the start of the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships.
The NCAA D1 Championships start on Wednesday in the US but streaming starts in the early hours of Thursday in the UK so that will be included in the document for Thursday's events instead.

      • Live streams/broadcasts for Wednesday 7th June:

Oh my, it's getting busy! There's live streaming/broadcasts every day this week.

        Wednesday to Saturday
        • World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (Innsbruck & Stubai, AUT) - It looks like there's a strong British team for these 7 races and certainly in the Uphill Vertical races on Day 1 there's a number of athletes competing who are fairly familiar on the track and roads such as Grayson Murphy (USA), Domenika Mayer (GER), Kate Avery, Tereza Hrochova (CZE), Madalina Monica Florea (ROU) and Cesare Maestri (ITA), all of whom have done well in previous mountain running championships
        Wednesday
        • Final day (Day 4) of the Asian U20 Championships (Yecheon, KOR) - See 3 posts above. By the way, there are now startlists for this
        • Jyväskylä Games (Jyväskylä, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; This looks like probably one of the weaker Finnish GP meetings of recent years. However, there's still a few decent events, definitely the Women's 100 Hurdles with Finland's top 3 plus the good Indian Jyothi Yarraji (12.84 SB) & Ebony Morrison, the Men's Hammer has a pretty good Scandi field, the Men's TJ looks decent and the Women's Javelin is too, headed by Japan's Yuka Sato. This stream is on the European Athletics YT or Facebook channel but, of course, they'll be taking Finnish TV's pictures and their TV broadcasts are very, very good - there's very little flim-flam or wasted time, just loads of action on the track and in the field instead
        • University of Birmingham Track & Field Series - Meet 2 incl BMC Gold Standard meeting (Birmingham, GBR) - As Loop-guru has already outlined elsewhere on the forum, the standout events here are the BMC 800s including a number of British internationals, promising youngsters and the continuing comeback of Sarah McDonald. There's also some good athletes in the Women's 1500 such as Poppy Tank, Bethan Morley & Alex Millard (although the latter is also entered in Copenhagen below)
        • Copenhagen Athletics Games (Copenhagen, DEN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; In contrast to the Jyväskylä Games above, this is probably looking a bit stronger than it usually does and there's good depth in a number of the fields. The Women's 800 includes Griffith, Snowden, Sharp & Feldmeier (USA). The Women's Hammer line-up is pretty good and there's a good Women's 3000 that pits Eloise Walker, Megan Keith & Alex Millard against Rose Davies (AUS), Likina Amebaw (ETH; worth much better than her PB) & Florencia Borelli (ARG). Nia Ali heads a fairly good 100 Hurdles field. The Men's events don't seem as strong but Bracy goes in the 100 with Andy Robertson and the 1500 is decent. Aside from those mentioned, and including Adam Fogg (incorrectly denoted as an Aussie), there's another 7 Brits also due to compete
        • International Golden Roof Challenge (Innsbruck, AUT) - International Pole Vault & Long Jump street meeting; WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; The fields are small (deliberately so, I think) but decent, with the Long Jumps looking like the stronger events this year. For example, the Women's includes Brume, Agate de Sousa & Burks

Next major post tomorrow (Wednesday) evening for Thursday's streams ... the start of the NCAA D1 Championships and the Continental Tour meetings in Budapest, St. Pölten (AUT), Košice and possibly the 1500m meeting in Jessheim (NOR).

Impressive - actually 6 different language streams for the Mountain Running.

      • Live streams/broadcasts for Thursday 8th June:

        Thursday to Saturday
        • Days 2 to 4 of the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (Innsbruck & Stubai, AUT) - See the post above
        Thursday to Sunday (UK time)
        • NCAA D1 Championships (Austin, TX, USA)
        Thursday
        • Liese Prokop Memorial (St. Pölten, AUT) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; These Austrian Conti Tour meetings are never particularly deep but there's a few decent events here - the Men's Hammer and the Women's 100H & 400H. The field in the Men's Discus is the strongest of the meeting with Weisshaidinger, Marek Barta (CZE), Percy & Greg Thompson
        • Hungarian GP Series - Budapest (Budapest, HUN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; In most events there's at least 2 or 3 strong athletes making for decent line-ups and the Women's events, overall, look a bit stronger than the Men's. I really like the look of the Women's 3000 Steeple with a good young Kenyan, Celestine Jepkosgei Biwot, along with the best Brazilians, da Silva & Ferraz, Renouard (FRA) and a Spanish contingent of Sanchez-Escribano, Marta Serrano & Robles. After an impressive 15:27 debut over 5000m recently, 20yo Serrano might take a big chunk off her Steeple PB here. The Men's 400 includes Hungary's new sensation, Attila Molnar (44.98 two weeks ago). Bekah Walton is in the Jav against Kolak, Jemai (ITA) and Anabella Bogdan (HUN) who, this year, at the age of 31 has thrown over 60m for the first time!
        • JBL Jump Fest Elite (Košice, SVK) - International Street Meeting; WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; This is a picturesque street meeting with the beautiful cathedral forming the backdrop. The star attraction is Andy Diaz in the Triple Jump. His competitors include Necati Er (TUR) and a good Georgian, Lasha Gulelauri. The Women's Long Jump is headlined by Alina Rotaru-Kottmann & Keturah Orji

Next major post tomorrow (Thursday) evening for Friday's streams - the Paris DL, hopefully the International Race Walking Festival in Alytus (World Tour Silver) and maybe another meeting too.

      • Added to the latest document above is Thursday evening's:

Jessheim 1500m Elite (Jessheim, NOR) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Here we have some decent internationals pitched against some of the best Scandinavians. So, in the Women's 'A' race Billings (AUS), Aprile (ITA), Damink (NED) & Mariana Borelli (ARG) will face the likes of Amalie Saeten (NOR), Ilona Mononen (FIN) and Linn Soderholm (SWE). The Men's 'A' race includes Callum Davies (AUS) and his good young compatriot Jude Thomas, Giovanni Filippi (ITA), Emil Danielsson (SWE) & Ferdinad Edman (NOR)

        • Live streams/broadcasts for Friday 9th June:

I'm also hoping to be able to add the Grand Prix Sudamericano Andrés Calonge in Argentina which was streamed last year.

          Friday to Saturday
          • Days 3 & 4 of the World Mountain and Trail Running Championships (Innsbruck & Stubai, AUT) - See 3 posts above
          Friday to Sunday
          • Days 2 to 4 of the NCAA D1 Championships (Austin, TX, USA) - See 2 posts above
          Friday
          • International Race Walking Festival - Alytus'2023 (Alytus, LTU) - World Race Walking Tour Silver meeting; The line-ups here are quite good. In the Women's race Viktoria Madarasz (HUN) faces 3 top Ukrainians - Sobchuk, Olyanovska & Shevchuk. There's also good Ukrainians in the Men's race (incl Ihor Hlavan) but they'll face a stern test against the likes of Salih Korkmaz (TUR), Isaac Palma (MEX) and Karl Junghannss (GER)
          • Meeting de Paris - Paris Diamond League (Paris, FRA)
All the details and links at https://www.dropbox.com/s/2scemgc7ww...06-09.odt?dl=0

Next major post tomorrow (Friday) evening for the weekend's streams including the Conti Tour Bronze meetings in Geneva, Sollentuna & Hungary, the BMC Grand Prix Round 2, loaded 5000s & 1500s from near Paris, two Combined Events meetings and the New York Mini 10k (Women-only).

        • Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 10th June to Sunday 11th June:

Sorry, no teaser notes again. It's gets difficult when the roster of events is so busy. Since it's happened a lot lately I have plans to address it and will probably try something new next weekend.

Just to mark your card about a few events this weekend though ... The FAST5000 (and 1500s) meeting near Paris is loaded and there's loads of very good British women competing there. The New York Mini 10k is quite loaded too with the likes of Obiri, Teferi, Sisson & D'Amato. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Geneva meeting is the best of the 3 Conti Tour Bronze meetings, although the meeting in Hungary is quite good and the 800s and M 1500 in Sollentuna are also good. There's a number of very good athletes competing in the Italian Club Championships Final and the Italian Federation's live streams are always very good.

          Saturday to Sunday
          • Days 3 & 4 of the NCAA D1 Championships (Austin, TX, USA) - See 4 posts above

            • Live streams/broadcasts for Tuesday 13th June:

Both of Tuesday's meetings have an extensive pre-programme that features several field events and both pre-programmes are also being live streamed/broadcast. However, for that section of the meeting in Turku you'll need a VPN and, inexplicably, it also includes the Women's 800 'A' race (when there's weaker races in the main program, e.g., the M 400H).

              Tuesday
              • Kladno hází a Kladenské Memoriály (Kladno, CZE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; This is always a nice meeting and they pay particular attention to assembling pretty strong line-ups for the throws. Of the throwing events, only the Women's Discus isn't being held! For example, in the Women's Javelin there's Kitaguchi, Mitchell, Muze & Ogrodnikova and in the Men's Shot Put, Weir, Stanek, Kokoshko, Lincoln & Toader. The track events and High Jump comps are quite good too. Simbine, Erik Cardoso (BRA), Andy Robertson & Fuchs (AUT) go in the 100. There's a good Men's 800 and, in the Women's equivalent, Boffey goes against Almanza & Maddie Kelly (CAN). The Women's 400 includes Schwab, Vondrova, Pipi and Evelis Aguilar (COL)
              • Paavo Nurmi Games (Turku, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting

              Wednesday
              • Gran Premio Diputación de Castellón - Memorial José Antonio Cansino (Castellón, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; The line-ups for a lot of the events here are pretty good and there's a number of big names due to compete. For example, the Men's 200 includes Hortelano, Husillos & Yancarlos Martinez (DOM), there's a good Men's 1500 with Abate (ETH), Fontes & Denissel (FRA) and also some nice, competitive international fields for the Women's Long Jump, 800 & 1500. The closing event is the Men's 5000 headlined by Hagos Gebrhiwet, Salomon Berihu, Ouassim Oumaiz & Abdessmad Oukhelfen
              Thursday to Monday
              • Indian National Inter State Senior Championships (Bhubaneswar, IND) - Most of India's best are competing here with several interrupting their European tours to do so. With their national championships not happening until October it looks like these Inter State championships might be their trials for the team for Worlds and also for the Asian Championships and Asian Games? One of the match-ups includes Parul Chaudhary against good 21yo Ankita in the Women's 5000. Chaudary ran a 15:10 PB in the US recently and Ankita ran her 15:33 PB in Japan 6 weeks ago. Chaudhary is also entered in the Steeple where she has a 9:29.5 PB from 3 weeks ago

Unfortunately, the Heino Lipp Memorial in Estonia (CT Bronze) is behind a paywall.

              Friday to Monday
              • Days 2 to 5 of the Indian National Inter State Senior Championships (Bhubaneswar, IND) - Included again in the document below; See the post above for teaser notes
              Friday
              • Horst Mandl Memorial (Graz, AUT) - WA Continental Tour Challenger meeting; As is often the case at these Austrian meetings, the Men's Discus is the standout event, Weisshaidinger perhaps making a big effort to encourage his mates to attend. The Men's 100 isn't bad including Guliyev, Bailey, Ogunlewe & Amo-Dadzie. In the Women's events, the 100 Hurdles has some pretty good depth to it and includes Michelle Harrison (CAN; 12.82 SB) & the Slovenians, Nika Glojnaric and Joni Tomicic Prezelj.
