Live streams/broadcasts for Monday 8th August to Wednesday 10th August:
Monday to Friday- Islamic Solidarity Games (Konya, TUR) - With 50-odd nations eligible to compete here and the hosts having a strong team, there's some decent fields here; I'm not 100% certain that the TV broadcasts are athletics-only (the TV schedule doesn't specify), however the broadcast times do line up with the times of the athletics sessions. It's also possibly going to be on the TV stations' YouTube channel
- Gyulai István Memorial - Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix (Székesfehérvár, HUN) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; Loaded!
- Herculis - Monaco Diamond League (Monaco, MON)
Next major post on Friday evening.

Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 13th August to Monday 15th August:
Saturday- Sierre-Zinal (Sierre to Zinal, SUI) - World Mountain Running Cup Gold Label race; 31km race of the "Five 4000m Peaks"; A lot of the world's best mountain runners are competing (there's a good Preview linked in the document below); The course records are Kilian Jornet, 2:25:35 and Maude Mathys, 2:49:20 (both 2019) and both are competing again; I have no idea how good the live stream will be
- City2Surf (Sydney, NSW, AUS) - 14km road race; Not stellar fields this year. The Men's race includes Liam Adams & Ed Goddard but the Women's is probably deeper with Leanne Pompeani, Marnie Pointon, Chloe Tighe, Aynslee Van Graan (RSA) & Abigail Nordberg
- Scottish Senior & U17 Championships (Aberdeen, GBR)
- European Championships (Munich, GER)
Next major post possibly on Thursday 19th. If not, definitely on Friday 20th.Last edited by LuckySpikes; 13-08-22, 12:41.

Live broadcasts for event starting on Friday 19th August:
Friday to Sunday- European Championships (Munich, GER) - For convenience, the listing is included again in the document below
- NACAC Championships (Freeport, BAH) - The North American, Central American & Carribean Championships (only the 4th edition); Firstly. I'm not 100% certain it will be broadcast - WatchAthletics says it will be, but they get plenty of things wrong and it's not showing on the TV listings for the TV channel they specify. Other than that there's no other broadcast/streaming info on the net for these championships! But, give the link a try once the championships start; Anyway, as you'd expect/hope, the sprints are strong (especially the W 400) but the depth and quality of the fields reduces as the track distances increase; Some of the line-ups for the field events are pretty good
Next major post tomorrow (Friday 20th) for the weekend's events including the Busan International Pole Vault Meeting in Korea (WACT Challenger), the Falmouth Elite (track) Miles and 7 Mile Road Race in the US and possibly one or two other events as well.

Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 20th August to Sunday 21st August:
Saturday to Sunday- Ongoing European Championships (Munich, GER) - See post above
- Ongoing NACAC Championships (Freeport, BAH) - See post above
- Busan International Pole Vault Meeting (Busan, KOR) - street meet on the waterfront; WA Continental Tour Challenger series; The Men's field includes Jacob Wooton (USA), Minsub Jin (KOR; 5.80 PB) and Shingo Sawa (JPN; 5.61 PB) whilst in the Women's there's Rachel Baxter (USA; 4.62 PB) & Eunji Lim (KOR; 4.35 PB)
- ? Internationaler Schortenser Jever-Fun-Lauf (Schortens, GER) - International 10 Miles road race; Pre-pandemic this was a good international race but in 2021 it was domestic-only. Hopefully it will have an international field again this year
- Home Nations 5k (Cardiff, GBR) - There's decent fields for the inaugural edition of this event. Amongst those lining up in the Women's race are Jenny Nesbitt, Jess Gibbon, Holly Archer, Megan Keith, Elle Twentyman & Steph Pennycook; Leading the Men's field are the likes of Jake Smith, Will Battershill & Dan Jarvis
- Falmouth Elite Mile (Falmouth, MA, USA) - M + W track miles; Good fields here with Jye Edwards, Rorey Hunter (both AUS), Colby Alexander & Vince Ciattei headlining the Men's race; The Women's race is similarly competitive including Nikki Hiltz, Karisa Nelson, Sadi Henderson & Molly Sughroue
- Falmouth Road Race (Falmouth, MA, USA) - 7 miles; WA Elite Label race; When I watched this famous old race in 2019 the broadcast was pretty good but when I watched in 2021 it was awful. So, I don't know where along that spectrum this year's broadcast will fall ! Anyway, there's nice fields on the startline. Pat Tiernan, Leonard Korir, Zouhair Talbi (MAR), Sam Chelanga and 2-time defending champion, Ben Flanagan (CAN) are amongst the Men whilst the Women's field includes Kiera D'Amato, Edna Kiplagat, Marielle Hall, Mary Munanu (KEN; 31:20 10km PB) & Makena Morley
Next major post possibly on Monday evening. If not, definitely on Tuesday evening for Wednesday's Lappeenranta Games (FIN; WACT Challenger) and the Memoriał Wiesława Maniaka in Szczecin, always a good little meeting.

Live streams/broadcasts for Wednesday 24th August to Friday 26th August:
Wednesday- Lappeenranta Games (Lappeenranta, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; There's a few decent fields here, with the pick probably the M 1500. Amongst the Brits competing are Hannah Nuttall (1500) and Alex George (5000)
- Memoriał Wiesława Maniaka (Szczecin, POL) - This is always a nice little meeting with a great atmosphere; Several Brits are competing here including Okoye, Snowden & Giles, the latter two in good 800s. This meeting has a competition & extra prize money for the sprint double - times are added together to determine the winners. This is why you'll see more athletes doing both the 100 & 200 than you usually would at a one-day meeting
- Athletissima City Event - Men's Pole Vault - Lausanne Diamond League (Lausanne, SUI) - Live on Swiss TV (VPN needed)
- Athletissima - Lausanne Diamond League (Lausanne, SUI)
Next major post on Friday evening for some good weekend events.

Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 27th August to Sunday 28th August:
Whilst it's not possible to watch Sunday's Hokkaido Marathon (JPN) live, I'm hopeful of there being on-demand video for it. If so, I'll add it to the listings later.
Saturday to Sunday- Czech U23 Championships (Brno, CZE) - Having quickly scanned the start lists, this doesn't look bad
- Polish Superleague Club Championships Final (Karpacz, POL) - Amongst those due to compete here are Czykier, Ennaoui, Nowicki, Tsimanouskaya & Klaudia Siciarz
- Crim 10 Mile Road Race (Flint, MI, USA) - No idea of the start lists but this is usually a good quality international race
- Loughborough BMC Grand Prix Round 5 (Loughborough, GBR) - Decent fields here including a few international guests such as Josh Thompson & Natoya Goule (both 1500). Sam Tanner (NZL) is also down for the 1500 but he ran in Lausanne tonight
- Giro delle Mura Citta di Feltre (Feltre, ITA) - International Men's 9.5km road race (9 laps of 1050m) AND the "Running Seven Laps" race; This is one of my favourite road events every year, largely for the "Running Seven Laps" relay elimination race that concludes the evening; Firstly though, the Men's road race includes Yeman Crippa, Ala Zoghlami and Felix Kiptarus Korir (KEN), the World U20 silver medalist in Cali; The Running Seven Laps race is an elimination race with 9 or 10 relay teams of 2 pro mid-distance athletes. On each "lap" both members of the team run in relay up and down the hill (a 400m loop course) ... Then, after each lap, the race stops, they eliminate the last team and then the remaining teams, having got some breath back, start again about 45 seconds later. The seventh "lap" is the final lap where the race is won. Obviously, it's sensible to pace yourself and do just enough to get through to the next lap. However, last year the Kenyan duo didn't heed this, instead blasting the first 2 laps and then paying for it by being eliminated after lap 4! This year, the athletes competing include steepler Ahmed Abdelwahed, Ludovica Cavalli & Simone Barontini; Another little quirk of this meeting is that it includes the European Fire Brigade 10km Championship earlier in the evening!
- Comrades Marathon ("Down Run" this year - Pietermaritzburg to Durban, RSA) - 90km ultramarathon; No idea of who's running this classic race
- Antrim Coast Half Marathon (Larne, GBR) - WA Elite Label race; Good international fields here, including Jemal Yimer, Shadrack Kimining & Callum Hawkins. In the Women's race Yelamzerf Yehualaw, undeterred by last year's short course shambles, faces Tsehay Gemechu
- True Athletes Classics (Leverkusen, GER) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Probably only 10 mins of highlights for this so it's not worth going into the fields. They look pretty good though
Next major post on Monday evening for Tuesday's 2 Conti Tour Silver meetings in Luzern & Rovereto.Last edited by LuckySpikes; 26-08-22, 23:06.

Live streams/broadcasts for Tuesday 30th August:
Tuesday- Spitzenleichtathletik (Luzern, SUI) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; This is pretty loaded and looks as good as some Conti Tour Gold meetings. There's a few Brits in action such as Mitchell-Blake, Sember, Snowden & Giles
- Palio Città della Quercia (Rovereto, ITA) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; Not as strong as Luzern but there are good fields here and a few standout events such as the W 800, M 5000 and W Long Jump. There's more Brits competing here than there is in Luzern, including Haydock-Wilson, Sawyers, Langford & Thackery
Next major post either on Wednesday or Thursday evening.

Live streams/broadcasts for Tuesday 6th September to Thursday 8th September:
Tuesday- Hungarian Grand Prix Series - Pápa (Pápa, HUN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Largely the line-ups are decent here (some very similar to the Budapest meeting 4 days ago) but there's a few stand-out events especially on the Women's side. Georgina Adam goes in a fairly strong 400. There's 3 sub-2 women in the 800 as well as in-form Bianka Bartha-Keri and there's a good HJ that includes Sadullayeva & Tabashnyk
- Weltklasse - Zürich Diamond League Final (Zürich, SUI)
Next major post on Thursday evening for the Japanese University Team T&F Championships and the South American U18 Championships, both starting on Friday.
