  • Live streams/broadcasts for Tuesday 14th June to Wednesday 15th June:

There's a possibility that one or two more meetings will be added for Wednesday.

    Tuesday
    • Ongoing National Inter State Senior Championships (Chennai, IND) - See 5 posts above
    • Kladno hází a Kladenské memoriály (Kladno, CZE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Some nice international fields here including a pretty strong Women's Javelin, the W HJ including Chumachenko, Zialor, Gusin, Baikštyté & Hruba, the W 400 with Gabby Scott (PUR), Pipi, Schwab, Becker (IRL) & Vondrova, and the W 100 with Swoboda, Haase, Siragusa & Stefanowicz; I've only listed women's events there but it seems to me that they are stronger than the men's fields. There's a few other Brits competing too. There's 2 streams - one for the throws starting in the morning and then the main programme
    • Paavo Nurmi Games (Turku, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting
    • Meeting Arcobaleno Atletica Europa (Celle Ligure, ITA) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; Not the strongest of fields but Thomas Somers is entered for both the 200 & 400 and Lawrie & Knibbs go against a semi-decent 400H field. Carys McAulay is one of the several other Brits due to compete. And for the first time this year a startlist has spelt former World champ Melaine Walker's first name correctly! (See 2022 Outdoors thread); The Italian Federation always do a good job with their live streams
    • CITIUS Meeting (Bern, SUI) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; No startlists yet but always one of the stronger Bronze meetings; The Swiss Federation has, however, published the main Swiss athletes competing here, including Kambundji in the 100 & 200, del Ponte in the 200 & Ditaji Kambundji in the 100H
    • Harry Jerome International Track Classic (Burnaby, BC, CAN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting AND World Race Walking Tour Bronze meeting; The standout races here look like the W 800 including M Kelly, L Stafford, Mehra (USA), Real (MEX) & Thomas (AUS), and the W 1500 with Marta Pen Freitas, Hawthorn, Praught-Leer, Ngarambe & Hermansson; There's decent depth in some of the other events too
    Wednesday
    • JBL Jump Fest (Košice, SVK) - 60m, 60H & LJ street meeting; This is a rather picturesque street meeting with a lovely cathedral (or church?) right behind the athletes; Decent fields here, including the Women's LJ with Stratton, Irozuru & Farkas
    • Meeting de Marseille (Marseille, FRA) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; As usual, good fields in many of the events here (I'm surprised it's only a Challenger meeting and not Bronze) - e.g., In the Women's 400 there's Kaczmarek, Laviai Nielsen & Healy, in the Men's 800 Giles, de Arriba, Bosse, Reuther, Thomas Staines & Heyward and British men are also out in force in the 1500, up against the likes of Musagala, Habz (FRA), Jye Edwards & Luke McCann. But don't expect Mekhissi Benabbad to actually start this race - he's been a DNS for the last 6 or 7 track races I've seen him entered for!

Next major post on Wednesday evening for Thursday & Friday meetings including the Oslo DL, Copenhagen Games (Bronze), the meeting in Castellón (Challenger) and the England Athletics 10,000m Championships.

Startlists for the CITIUS Meeting In Bern are now up - at the link provided in the document.

  • Live streams/broadcasts for Thursday 16th June to Friday 17th June:

There's some clashing of meetings with the Oslo DL but they're all easily available on-demand.

    Thursday to Sunday
    • New Balance Outdoor Nationals (Philadelphia, PA, USA) - One of two National US High School Championships; Some (not all) of the names currently making headlines in US HS circles are competing, such as Shawnti Jackson (100 & 200), Cade Flatt (800) and Gary Martin (Mile)
    Thursday
    • International Meeting Città di Grosseto (Grosseto, ITA) - After 5 years away, this meeting has been revived and whilst it's not one of the strong Italian meets there's still some good domestic athletes and some decent international athletes competing here, e.g., in the Women's 100 & 200 there's Anna Bongiorni & Chiara Melon, there's several of Italy's best in the W 400H and the LJ includes Iapichino, Laura Strati & 2021 World U20 bronze medalist, Mariya Horyelova (UKR). The Men's LJ field also looks good with three 8m jumpers - the Frenchmen, Pommery & Konate, and Jose Mandros (PER)
    • Copenhagen Athletics Games (Copenhagen, DEN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; There's decent international fields here including a number of Brits such as Haydock-Wilson (entered in the 200 and 400). I like the look of the M 1500 with a pack of men clustered around the 3:37-3:39 mark such as Rorey Hunter (AUS), Pietro Arese (ITA), David Nikolli (ALB) & Jan Fris (CZE). There's also an interesting W 3000 including Izzi Batt-Doyle (AUS), Semenya, Likina Amebaw & Meselu Berhe (both ETH) and the Brits, Thackery & Fry. The W 100H also looks pretty good
    • Gran Premio Diputación de Castellón - Memorial José Antonio Cansino (Castellón, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; This meeting has a growing reputation and this year the strength of the international fields, especially in the mid-distances, definitely belies it's Challenger label; Lemlem Hailu and Linden Hall head the Women's 1500 field, backed up by a load of good athletes including 16yo Birke Haylom (ETH; 4:02 PB), Guerrero, del Buono, NCAA champ Vissa (ITA) & Machado. A good M 1500 includes Denissel (FRA), Mario Garcia Romo, Santiago Catrofe (URU) & Isaac Nader (POR). In the W 800 Hirut Meshesha (1500 winner in Rabat) is perhaps looking to take a big chunk off her PB and faces a good field that includes 3 improving Spanish youngsters - Pinacchio, Martinez & Garcia, the former just 19yo; In the Men's 800 there's 5 sub-1:45 men, including Mark English; The Men's 5000 also looks pretty good and there's some good international and domestic athletes in the Women's equivalent; There's quite strong line-ups for both Men's and Women's Long Jumps and Mitchell-Blake goes in the 200 against Yancarlo Martinez (20.11 PB)
    • Bislett Games - Oslo Diamond League (Oslo, NOR)
    • Victoria International Track Classic (Victoria, BC, CAN) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; There's a few quite good international mid-distance races here, the pick of them probably being McBride, Jesus Tonatiu Lopez & Prakel in the 800
    Friday
    • FASTFriday 2022 incl England Athletics 10,000m Championships (Walthamstow, GBR) - It has to be said the entry is always a bit disappointing for the English 10,000 Championships, so this is one for the die-hards only! In the Men's race (Race 5), Jack Gray & former English XC champion Callum Johnson look like the pick of the field. The very small Women's field goes as part of a mixed race (Race 4) where Louise Small looks like the strong favourite

I can't see anyone who's planning to really feature in the 5000 at the Trials running it either.

I missed that the Nike Outdoor Nationals is also happening on the same days as the New Balance version. It's now added to the document (but not to the teaser list above - I don't want to risk incurring the green Unapproved wrath!)
Of course, it's very silly that 2 shoe companies both claim to hold the US National High School Championships and on the same weekend as well !

Apparently there are also Adidas and Brooks National High Schools Champs!

  • Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 18th June to Sunday 19th June:

There might be a couple more live streams to add to the roster. The Conti Tour Challenger meeting in Ordizia (ESP) is streaming but the fields didn't quite make the grade for inclusion.

    Saturday to Sunday
    • Balkan Championships (Craiova, ROU) - There's a lack of info currently but the Romanian Federation says it will be streamed (from 4.30pm on Saturday?); From what I've seen of the teams that Romania, Greece & Turkey are taking, they're quite strong with a lot of their best athletes competing
    • Ongoing New Balance Outdoor Nationals (Philadelphia, PA, USA) - See the post above
    • Ongoing Nike Outdoor Nationals (Eugene, OR, USA) - See the post above
    Saturday
    • International Hofer Pole Vault Meeting (Hof, GER) - Decent fields with the Men's event having the bigger name athletes, e.g., Lisek, Vloon & Holzdeppe
    • Kuortane Games (Kuortane, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; The star attraction on the Men's side is the Javelin comp with Peters, Chopra, Walcott, Helander and 18yo Artur Felfner (UKR) who threw 84.32 last week; However, in general I'd say the Women's fields are stronger overall than the Men's, with good field event line-ups and a couple of pretty good track events
    • Meeting Européen de Nivelles (Nivelles, BEL) - The third Belgian meeting in recent weeks that's been a first for the LSL thread! Some OK international fields here that include a few good names (e.g., Camille Laus) and a couple of Brits such as Zoe Pollock in the 400H
    • Meeting de Braga (Braga, POR) - If you go top 2 or 3 deep in each event there's some decent international fields here especially on the track, e.g., in the M 400, 1500 & Steeple which includes Barros (POR) & Bouih (ITA). Mariana Machado (still only 21) goes in the 3000, in reasonable shape it seems after a quite good 1500 last night in Castellón
    • Meeting Madrid (Madrid, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; Mostly good fields here with the highlight perhaps the W 1500 with Linden Hall, Marta Perez and 3 good young Ethiopians amongst the field
    • Meeting de Paris - Paris Diamond League (Paris, FRA)
    Sunday
    • CityLauf Dresden (Dresden, GER) - International 10km road race; Not stellar fields here but the Men's field is headed by Lawi Kosgei (27:41 PB)

    • It would help if the time of day wasn't confused by some sites. Watchathletics says GMT _2 hours, Paris is one hour ahead only. We miss the two heats of the 110m hurdles. Hope to see progress from Zoya.

        • Lucky, Watchathletics has a results and an upcoming meets site which do not offer visisble stuff or your full range coverage, teasers, timetablesetc which i also read. However, this year alone with copious American meets during the early and late spring, I have got the results of such meets, at unearthly hours of the night, without getting out of bed. With AW, T and F Forum, Letsrun( the masochist in me) and the ability to see meets pretty quick on Youtube, i am contented.

OK, fair enough. I agree it's quite good for results.

World Athletics' calendar & results service is also much improved in the last couple of years - https://www.worldathletics.org/compe...endar-results?

            • Live streams/broadcasts for Wednesday 22nd June:

              Wednesday to Saturday
              • Troféu Brasil de Atletismo (Rio de Janeiro, BRA) - Brazilian Club Championships; No startlists yet but this is usually pretty loaded domestically and includes a full programme of disciplines
              Wednesday
              • Hokuren Distance Challenge 20th Anniversary Tournament (Fukagawa, JPN) - This is the precursor to the super Hokuren Distance Challenge series that starts on 2nd July; All the races here (except the W 5000) are being paced for Eugene standards. The fields are small but decent. In the Women's 10,000 Kaede Hagitani is aiming for sub-31:25 after running 31:35 on her debut when finishing 2nd at the Japanese Championships; In the Men's equivalent, no Japanese man has the Eugene standard yet but there's at least half a dozen here who'll likely be having a go; In the Women's 1000 Nozomi Tanaka is attacking her own NR, 2:37.72
              • Orimattila Star Games (Orimattila, FIN) - International Women's TJ & Men's Javelin meeting; There's a good top 3 or 4 in both events including Anderson Peters and Thea Lafond
              • Brněnská laťka Olympia 2022 (Brno, CZE) - International Women's High Jump meeting; Very good field here with all the best Ukrainians (incl Mahuchikh), Vukovic, Junnila, Sadullayeva & Trost

                • Qosanov Memorial (Almaty, KAZ) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; No startlists yet but typically a lot of good athletes from the West/Central Asia region compete here, e.g., Iran, the "Stans", Bahrain & India
                Saturday
                • ? Corrida de Langueux (Langueux, FRA) - International 10km road race; WA Label race; No idea of who's competing but usually there's solid fields here
                Sunday
                • Women's Challenge Grand Prix Series 10k - Round 2 (Durban, RSA) - This is a really nice series of six 10km races (roughly one a month) with a good prize pot for individual races and also for the series. So, it attracts many of South Africa's best (e.g., Gerda Steyn, Tayla Kavanagh & Irvette van Zyl in this race) as well as some good foreign competition such as Helalia Johannes and young Ethiopian 2:22 marathoner Tadu Teshome (though in SA they always refer to her as Tadu Nare); The live stream is pretty professionally done with outdoor studio chat previewing of the race beforehand and analysis & interviews after
                • White City Games - Ranking Competition (Oulu, FIN) - Did you know? ... If a country holds its national championships after the World Championships they have a right to hold a "Ranking competition" instead that awards the same level of world ranking points as the national championships. This is that meeting for Finland where there's plenty of good athletes competing, including most of their biggest names

                  The main changes ...

                  • Links have been added for the Kenyan Trials which was on a different YT channel to that I predicted
                  • The Italian Championships streams do also include the sections that were broadcast on Rai TV
                  • All the track finals videos from the USA Champs are linked (if you hadn't already noticed)
                  • Corrida de Langueux was streamed
The next major post is coming up tonight.
