  • Live streams/broadcasts for Tuesday 31st May to Wednesday 1st June:

    Tuesday
    • Golden Spike (Ostrava, CZE) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; As always, some great line-ups here. There's no need to tease it up any further!
    Wednesday
    • Filothei Women Gala (Filothei nr Athens, GRE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Just 5 senior events here - three jumps, the 100 & the 100 Hurdles; Nice line-ups for the jumps. The PV includes Stefanidi, Chapelle (nee Guillon-Romarin), Caudery & Polak, in the LJ there's Rotaru-Kottmann, Tilde Johansson, Filippa Fotopoulou & Karydi, whilst in the HJ there's Vukovic, Angelina Topic & Gousin; The 2 track events aren't as strong but include Krystal Awuah
    • Tamperen Games (Tampere, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; Largely domestic fields here with a small sprinkling of foreign athletes. Amongst them, Chris Bennett is competing against a good domestic field including Aaron Kangas and in the 400H Jess Tappin leads the field, fresh off her first sub-56 clocking

    • Live streams/broadcasts for Thursday 2nd June:

It's another busy day on the Continental Tour!

      Thursday to Saturday
      • National Federation Cup U20 Championships (Nadiad, IND) - The Indian Federation's streams always have commentary in English
      Thursday
      • Jessheim 1500m Elite (Jessheim, NOR) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Decent fields here for the 'A' races. There's several 3:35-3:37 men competing including Andrew Coscoran (IRL) & Pietro Arese (ITA). In the Women's Georgia Griffith & Jenny Selman are amongst the line-up
      • Austrian Open (Eisenstadt, AUT) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Quality was a bit thin on the ground at the first 3 Austrian meetings (not including Götzis) but at this meeting there's a bit more depth in many of the events. Iapichino (in a pretty good LJ), Hussong, Andreas Hofman & Weisshaidinger are the big names competing and there's a few 'lesser' Brits in the Men's sprints including Rhoden-Stevens & Jack Lawrie
      • Dromia International Sprint and Relays Meeting (Vari, GRE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; This looks like a decent meeting with a sizeable contingent of Scandinavians, French & Irish amongst the entrants from 10 or so countries; Hopefully, they also show the earlier 400s (flat and hurdles) because they include some good athletes such as Amalie Ieul & B Lobo Vedel
      • Meeting International de Montreuil (Montreuil, FRA) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; Good news! This is free to watch (with no geo-blocking) instead of being on the French federation's new subscription service; There's some very nice fields here. In the M 800 Olympic champ Korir faces several in-form athletes including the Algerians Moula & Hethat, Collins Kipruto, de Arriba & Benjamin Robert. Andy Pozzi faces D Roberts, Constantino & Pereira. In the 400 Laviai Nielsen is up against Jonathas & Roxana Gomez. The W 800 looks good with Almanza, Lamote, Mary Moraa and one of a plethora of talented young Ethiopians in the mid-distances ATM, Worknesh Mesele. The Men's TJ features Christian Taylor, Pichardo & Martinez. In the W 1500 Klosterhalfen is due to face Diribe Welteji, the winner in Ostrava, and in the 5000 Genzebe Dibaba lines up with Bahta, Daisy Jepkemei and two good Ugandans, Esther Chebet & Prisca Chesang

Next major post tomorrow (Thursday) evening for Friday's meetings including the Irena Szewinska Memorial (WACT Gold) & the Manchester meeting (WACT Silver).

Really nice stream for the Austrian Open and there's English commentary too!

    • Live streams/broadcasts for Friday 3rd June:

The Gold meeting in Bydgoszcz and the Silver meeting in Manchester clash a bit but they're both on YouTube so easy to catch up on later.

      Friday to Saturday
      • Ongoing National Federation Cup U20 Championships (Nadiad, IND) - see post above
      Friday
      • Festival of Miles (St. Louis, Missouri, USA) - OK fields here. The Women's is headed by Hanna Hermansson (SWE), Karisa Nelson, Alexina Teubel (nee Wilson) & Susan Ejore. In the Men's there's the likes of Jordan Mann, Wesley Kiptoo, Jack Anstey (AUS) & GB's Euan Makepeace
      • Irena Szewinska Memorial (Bydgoszcz, POL) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; At the time of writing, the startlists are not yet published for this but the WA Preview is up
      • Manchester World Athletics Continental Tour (Manchester, GBR) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; Mostly good fields here. I'm not sure there's one standout event but I like the look of the Women's distance events - nicely competitive - and the W 1500 especially, if you consider Healy's PB is now 4:02.8 and Megger's 4:04.9. I see Mishmash is now in the 5000 instead of facing Pratt & Gega in the Steeple as originally advertised (re the Steeple, Prisecaru now has a 9:33 PB, so providing more depth at the top of that field)

Just a heads up but the Montreuil meeting will also be streamed via Vinco too. You'll need a user account to log in, but it is one of the meetings that are free to view on their channel. https://www.vincosport.com/event/mee...eid=147dac38f8

      • Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 4th June to Sunday 5th June:

I'm keeping an eye open for a stream of the Ethiopian Trials which are maybe this weekend but the lack of information about this meeting is shocking. I'm also hopeful of streams for Saturday's Gold Gala Fernanda Ribeiro which has 2 very good 10,000s lined up, and the Zahoracka 20 race walking meeting in Slovakia (also Saturday).

There was a couple of meetings in France this weekend and one in Spain that didn't quite meet the grade and so I haven't included them. But, I think there's already more than enough below to keep you going!

        Saturday to Sunday
        • Challenge Assoluto di Firenze (Florence, ITA) - This year the Italian Championships (in 3 weeks' time) are limited to 16 athletes per event - 11 will come from the season's toplists and the Top 5 in each of the events at this meeting will also earn a place; There's decent depth in some of the events as well as some athletes who look very likely to qualify via the season toplist route anyway - e.g., Nesim Amsellek in the 1500, Maya Bruney in the 200 & Dariya Derkach in the TJ
        • Meeting Internacional Arona Combined Events (Arona, Tenerife, ESP) - WA Combined Events Tour Gold meeting; Good fields here with several 8000+ men and several 6000+ women, including GB's Niamh Emerson & Ellen Barber
        • Défi’Athlon (Montpellier, FRA) - WA Combined Events Tour Bronze meeting; Kevin Mayer & Auzeil head the Men's field whilst Katie Stainton leads the Women's field as the only woman over 6000, ahead of 5 athletes who've scored over 5700
        • Balkan Relays - International Sprints & Relay Cup (Erzurum, TUR) - There's athletes from 5 nations competing - Turkey, Greece, Lebanon, Qatar & India; I've only seen the Turkish & Greek entries but they're putting out strong teams, e.g., Guilyev & Harvey are in the 100 (and possibly the 4x1 as well)
        Saturday
        • Ongoing National Federation Cup U20 Championships (Nadiad, IND) - see 4 posts above
        • Nelson Mandela Bay Half Marathon incl SA Half Marathon Championships (Gqeberha, RSA) - WA Elite Label race; Don't know about the international fields yet but the domestic fields for the national championships are good and include Stephen Mokoka, the defending Men's champ Precious Mashele (60:24 PB), Irvette Van Zyl and the defending Women's champ Glenrose Xaba (69:26 PB)
        • Sparkassen Gala (Regensburg, GER) - Some decent fields in this sprints-heavy meeting, e.g., Luckenkemper, Haase, Kora (SUI) & Rosius in the 100 (all but Kora are also in the 200 with Laura Muller). In the 400, Laviai Nielsen goes against the likes of Spelmeyer, Imke Vervaert & Chigbolu (ITA)
        • Stockholm Marathon incl Swedish Marathon Championships (Stockholm, SWE) - WA Label race; Good competitive-looking fields here. In the Men's race 6 men have run 2:05/2:06 within the last 3 years, including Bazu Worku. Six of the Women have 2:26/2:27 PBs and are joined by Tsige Haileslase (68:30 Half PB) making her marathon debut
        • Memorial Léon Buyle (Oordegem, BEL) - We're in Oordegem again ... All of a sudden these Flanders Cup meetings are being live streamed for the first time. Not quite as strong fields as last week but many of the Main programme events are still not bad and there's quite a few Brits competing too, e.g., 3 Brits headed by Amy Hillyard in the 400, up against Mawdsley & Laus. Other Brits competing include Darbyshire and the Hannahs, Brier & Williams
        • Dainis Kūla Javelin Cup - "Ventspils Spear 2022" (Ventspils, LAT) - Most of Latvia's best throwers are competing in this
        • Trofeo Internacional Ciudad de Salamanca - Memorial Carlos Gil Pérez (Salamanca, ESP) - Some good international fields here that include the likes of Hortelano & Reynier (CUB) in the 200, Zambrano (possibly!) in the 400, a strong Men's LJ field and good Women's 100 & 200
        • USATF Women's 6km Road Championships (Canton, OH, USA) - A really good field here that includes Rachel Smith (nee Schneider), Annie Rodenfels, Grayson Murphy, Pagano, Ednah Kurgat, Paige Stoner, D'Amato & Tuliamuk
        • Meeting Jaén Paraiso Interior - Memorial Francisco Ramón Higueras (Andújar, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Decent international fields here but perhaps not up to the usual standard of this meeting; However, Zango is in the TJ against Jordan Diaz. Marta Perez and Agueda Munoz step down to the 800 to face 3 good youngsters. In the W 5000 there's a good domestic field (including Carla Gallardo, 15:10 in Birmingham, and super 18yo Carla Dominguez) against 2 little known wildcard Ethiopians
        Sunday
        • ? Leonora Golden Gift (Leonora, WA, AUS) - Elite road miles; Pretty good fields here. Whilst the Men's race features "B-listers" (given the Aussie strength in the 1500), the Women's race has some more familiar athletes including Buckman, Duncan & Natalie Rule (15:06 5000 recently)
        • Madrid Vintage Run (Madrid, ESP) - International 10km road race (140m net downhill); Good domestic fields here and the Men's race also includes several very good African such as Yasin Haji (ETH; 27:00 PB recently) & Weldon Lagat (27:21 PB)
        • Janusz Kusociński Memorial (Chorzów, POL) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting
        • International Pentecost Sport Meeting Rehlingen AKA Pfingstsportfest (Rehlingen, GER) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Always a nice meeting this, with packed crowds and headlined by some good field events and good mid-distance fields, especially this year on the Men's side - e.g., 11 sub-3:38 athletes in the 1500. There's a few Brits in the 100s, Nicole Kendall in the 400H & Lincoln in the Shot
        • Music City Track Carnival (Nashville, TN, USA) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; Some good fields here, e.g., the likes of Norris, Allie Wilson, Dani Aragon & Mehra in the 1500, and McLaughlin goes in the 400H
        • Meeting International Mohammed VI d'Athletisme de Rabat - Rabat Diamond League (Rabat, MAR)

Also, say what you will about the sometimes shambolic and seemingly outdated results web pages that British athletic events sometimes have to offer fans, but just having a flashy, modern looking page doesn't always mean it's any better. Also, at least the British results pages update the event results fairly promptly.
That can't be said of the site used to present the Arona results... It looks nice and current certainly, but the results themselves are taking an *age* to update and show up. All 3 heats of the decathlon have been and gone now, and still 10 minutes after the last one, not one registered time has shown up on the page yet.

          Monday
          • FBK Games (Hengelo, NED) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting
          • Memoriál Josefa Odložila (Prague, CZE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Decent international fields here, including 10 Brits
          Tuesday to Saturday
          • Oceania Senior, U20 & U18 Championships (Mackay, AUS) - In reality not much more than an AUS vs NZL match but, with huge World Rankings points on offer for a continental championships, there's some good names competing here

          • Live streams/broadcasts for Wednesday 8th June:

Still keeping an eye open for the Ethiopian Trials, wondering when they are! Also, there may an event or two added for tomorrow - including hopefully the African Championships in Mauritius.

            Wednesday
            • Espoo Games (Espoo, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; The best of the 3 Finnish GP meetings so far this year; The M 800, M 110H, W 400 and W 5000 in particular have pretty good fields with plenty of international representation, the latter including Megan Keith & Annabel Simpson against the likes of Camilla Richardsson, Caroline Gitonga (KEN) & Samrawit Mengsteab (SWE). Ashleigh Nelson goes in the 200 against Kortetmaa & Jura Levy (JAM), and Kirsty Law & Jessica Mayho in decent fields in their events
            • Trond Mohn Games (Bergen, NOR) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Jakob Ingebrigtsen is the big draw here, stepping down to 800. He might find it tough to win against Tony van Diepen though. There's some good fields elsewhere, e.g., the Women's HJ, the W 800 including Hedda Hynne, Walcott-Nolan & Bianka Bartha-Keri (HUN) and the M Discus that includes Nick Percy. There's also a few other Brits involved including Alex Haydock-Wilson in the 300 and Seddon & Pearce in a decent 3000SC
            Wednesday to Saturday
            • Ongoing Oceania Senior, U20 & U18 Championships (Mackay, AUS) - See post above

              • Live streams/broadcasts for Thursday 9th June to Friday 10th June:

I've also included again in this document the details and links for the African Senior Championships.

I'm hoping to also be able to add a stream for Friday's international meeting in Lisbon.

                Thursday
                • P-T-S Meeting (Šamorín, SVK) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; No entry lists yet but Gudaf Tsegay (maybe attacking the 5000m WR), Anderson Peters & Reece Prescod are amongst those expected to compete
                • Golden Gala Pietro Mennea - Rome Diamond League (Rome, ITA)
                Thursday to Saturday
                • Polish Championships (Suwałki, POL)
                • Ongoing Oceania Senior, U20 & U18 Championships (Mackay, AUS) - See 3 posts above
                Thursday to Sunday
                • NCAA D1 Championships (Eugene, OR, USA) - It's on BT Sport but there's also viewing options for those without that service
                • Japanese Championships & U20 Championships (Osaka, JPN) - Unfortunately, there's no mega-talent Seira Fuwa in the W 5000 (after an achilles injury in Feb) but I am still looking foward to seeing that race with Ririka Hironaka in just her 2nd race of the year (after winning the 10,000m championships 5 weeks ago). She faces a good field that has 4 other Japanese women with the Eugene standard (incl Kaede Hagitani & Nozomi Tanaka) as well as 2 good young Kenyans, Naomi Mussoni (14:49 PB) & Agnes Mwikali (14:53). Obviously, there's plenty of good athletes elsewhere in the meeting too!
                • Ongoing African Senior Championships (Port Louis, Mauritius)
                Friday
                • Schönebecker SoleCup (Schönebeck, GER) - (usually) International throws meeting; All domestic fields this year but the fields are good regardless, especially in both the Men's & Women's Discus
                Friday to Tuesday
                • National Inter State Senior Championships (Chennai, IND) - The Indian Federation's streams always have English commentary

              • Live streaming for this afternoon's Memorial Moniz Pereira - Meeting Cidade de Lisboa has been added to the latest document above. Not the deepest of fields but there's some good athletes due to compete, e.g., Constantino & Iribarne (110H), Reynier Mena (200), Evelise Veiga (LJ) & Amy Hillyard (400) against a couple of good Colombians.

It's very possible there'll be a couple of additions to the roster of events at some time this weekend.

                  Saturday
                  • Ongoing Oceania Senior, U20 & U18 Championships (Mackay, AUS) - See 5 posts above
                  • AtletiCAGenève - Memorial Georges Caillat (Geneva, SUI) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; The usual good multi-national fields here, including a lot of Brits; One Ukrainian I hope doesn't get a good cheer is returning doper Natalia Krol (nee Pryshchepa)!
                  • Championships of the Small States of Europe (Marša, Malta) - 18 teeny-tiny nations competing here but even the likes of Cyprus, Luxembourg, Armenia and Iceland (small population, not so small land mass!) have some good athletes
                  • Welsh Senior & U15 Championships (Cardiff, GBR) - Amongst those competing here are the Briers - Hannah & Joe - Jeremiah Azu, Sam Gordon, Jenny Nesbitt & Charlotte Arter (both 1500)
                  • New York Mini 10k (New York, USA) - Women's International 10km road race; A pretty loaded field here with Peres Jepchirchir, Senbere Teferi, Sheila Chepkirui, Viola Cheptoo and Emily Sisson looking like the best of a strong US line-up that also includes Sara Hall, D'Amato & Tuliamuk. Charlotte Purdue & Sarah Lahti (SWE) are also entered
                  • Fast Arms, Fast Legs (Wetzlar, GER) - International sprints meeting; Some good mostly domestic fields with a sprinkling of foreign athletes; Probably the pick of the events is the W 100 with most of the best Germans (Luckenkemper, Haase, Lisa Mayer etc) along with Rachel Miller & Patrizia Van der Weken (LUX)
                  • Ongoing Polish Championships (Suwałki, POL) - See 2 posts above
                  • Sky's The Limit 2022 (Zweibrücken, GER) - International Pole Vault & Javelin meeting; Decent Pole Vault fields but the Women's Jav looks like the best of the line-ups with Hussong, Kathryn Mitchell, Victoria Hudson (AUT) & Fuchs
                  • Gouden Spike incl Dutch 10,000m Championships (Leiden, NED) - There's a few good events here with some Brits competing too, e.g., the W Jav includes Sara Kolak, Liveta Jasiunaite (LTU) and the Brits, Walton & Jones. Nafi Thiam is in the Hurdles & LJ. The 10,000s are always a feature of this meeting and the Men's race has a good European field that includes Sam Atkin & Jake Smith (aiming at Worlds standards?) as well as the likes of Aouani (ITA), Schrub, Bour & Soufiane Bouchikhi
                  • Women's Spanish Club Championships - División de Honor Final (La Nucía, ESP) - Featuring Spain's Top 8 female clubs and a load of Spain's best athletes compete in this, as well as many very good foreign athletes who are based in Spain and members of these clubs. So, many of the line-ups are good and the foreign athletes competing include Yulimar Rojas, Rose Mary Alamanza, Roxana Gomez, Fiordaliza Cofil (DOM 400) and Yaime Perez. Even with the presence of some big stars, there's good match-ups in many of the events
                  • Meeting Città di Conegliano - Trofeo Toni Fallai (Conegliano, ITA) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; Startlists are not yet out but from the Preview article linked in the document it looks like there'll be decent international fields
                  • ? Meeting National de Carquefou (Carquefou, FRA) - This little meeting is known for its international 5000s (as well as, to a lesser extent, the 1500s); This year the fields seem decent (judging from the Preview article)
                  • MNEL - Meeting National de l'Est Lyonnais (Lyon, FRA) - International mid-distance meeting (800 to 5000); The 'A' races in the 800s & 1500s are the standout events here, e.g., the M 800 includes Joseph Deng and yet another fast Algerian, Djamel Sedjati (1:44.9 this year) and Charlie Grice goes in a pretty good 1500 that also includes Jimmy Gressier
                  • Watford BMC International Grand Prix - Round 3 (Watford, GBR) - WA Continental Tour Challenger series; Definitely the best of the BMC Grand Prix so far this year and it also includes athletes from several other countries. There's a good field in the M 800 'A' race and a pretty good M 1500 with Copeland, James West, Kane Elliott & Matthew Hussey (AUS). On the Women's side Judd, E Baker, Selman, Louise Shanahan & Rebekah Greene (NZL) are due to line up for the 1500, the 5000 features Calli Thackery, Twell, Harrison, Hannah Irwin & Jess Gibbon whilst the 3000SC has a good international flavour including Georgia Winkcup (AUS) & Brazil's reigning South American champion, Tatiane Da Silva
                  • Golden Roof Challenge (Innsbruck, AUT) - International Pole Vault & Long Jump street meeting; Good fields here with the LJ comps being the most interesting with Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk, Simon Ehammer & Jacob Fincham-Dukes
                  • Neujahrsspringen im Sommer (Merzig, GER) - International Men's Pole Vault meeting (in a schoolyard); Yep, another specialist Pole Vault meeting today! Lisek, Vloon, Lita Baehre & Broeders head the field here
                  • Zwolle Half Marathon (Zwolle, NED) - Good fields here with two sub-67 women, Nigisti Haftu & Viola Chepngeno and two sub-60 men, Edmond Kipngetich & Moses Kemei along with a few other good men from Eritrea & Morocco
                  Saturday into Sunday
                  • Launceston Running Festival (Launceston, TAS, AUS) - Half Marathon & 10km; For depth the 10km looks like the better race here with Natalie Rule, Wellings, Jess Stenson & Pompeani facing off in the Women's whilst Sam McEntee heads the Men's field. Brett Robinson, Sinead Diver & Milly Clark go in the half marathon
                  Saturday to Sunday
                  • Ongoing NCAA D1 Championships (Eugene, OR, USA) - See 2 posts above
                  • Ongoing Japanese Championships & U20 Championships (Osaka, JPN) - See 2 posts above
                  • Italian U23 Championships (Firenze, ITA) - Whilst most of Italy's best U23s are aiming instead at the Italian Senior Championships in 2 weeks' time, there's still a lot of decent fields here
                  • Ongoing African Senior Championships (Port Louis, Mauritius) - See document 4 posts above
                  Sunday
                  • Czech Super League Round 2 (Plzeň, CZE) - No entry lists yet but these meetings often feature a lot of the best Czechs and the live streams by the Czech Federation are always very, very good
                  • Men's Spanish Club Championships - División de Honor Final (La Nucía, ESP) - A similar story to the Women's Spanish Club Championships above (Saturday). There's a load of quality Spanish athletes competing, some good match-ups and a few very good foreign athletes too, e.g., in the 800 Burundi's Eric Nzikwinkunda goes up against Pablo Sanchez-Valladares, both of them 1:45-low men
                  • Sollentuna GP (Sollentuna, SWE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Some good fields here and it looks like the Swedish visa office will have been kept very busy with the number of different nationalities competing! That includes several Brits competing. The pick of the events on the track looks like the 1500s with Giles & Stonier in the Men's against the likes of Coscoran, Bibic & Kiprugut. In the Women's equivalent Snowden faces Bobocea, Maki, Vanderelst & Fleury (FRA). In the field the Men's Discus & Women's Shot Put are quite strong
                  • NYC Grand Prix (New York, USA) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; A lot of big names competing here!
                  Saturday to Tuesday
                  • Ongoing National Inter State Senior Championships (Chennai, IND) - See 2 posts above

It turns out that MNEL - Meeting National de l'Est Lyonnais was live on YouTube and not exclusive to AthleTV, the subscription service - they do confuse me sometimes!. Link updated in the document.

However, the stream for the Carquefou meeting didn't materialise.

I found the Carquefou meeting on facebook, and spent an hour looking at it live.

                • Added to the latest document above are the Finals of the top divisions of the Women's & Men's Spanish Club Championships (Women on Saturday, Men on Sunday).
Many of the best athletes in Spain, both domestic & foreign, get out and support these competitions. Anyway, above I've added some teaser notes for both events as well (I forgot to note that Winnie Nanyondo is also competing - I don't want to edit the post above again so soon for fear of being told I am "Unapproved"!)

Yep, always a popular meeting ... I wonder why?!

The Vinco stream is now working (as of 5 mins ago) after some issues earlier on.
                  Working...
