              • Live streams/broadcasts for Thursday 3rd June:

                Thursday
                • Liese Prokop Memorial (St. Pölten, AUT) - Not a loaded meeting but there's some good names - Guliyev in the 100, Jamal Wilson in the HJ and Weisshaidinger & Parellis in the Discus; The W 100 including Tsimanouskaya & Seidlova looks decent as does the W 100H with Tapper, Skvarkova & Schrott
                • Meeting Iberoamericano (Huelva, ESP) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Good fields across the board here; A few Brits are entered - Webb, Pratt, Bradshaw & Caudery
                • Festival of Miles (St. Louis, Missouri, USA) - Mostly HS races but the 2 senior races are decent. Eccleston, Paquette & Taylor Werner are in the women's and the men's is headed by Kiwis Nick Willis & Julian Oakley with a few up-and-comers like Jack Anstey (AUS)

                • Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 5th June to Sunday 6th June:

You picked a fine time to leave me, Lucille.

Yes, we're in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday night! But, there's lots of goodies before then.

                  Saturday to Sunday
                  • German Championships (Braunschweig, GER) - You know what to expect here!
                  Saturday
                  • International Half Marathon of Granollers, Les Franqueses and La Garriga (Granollers, CAT, ESP) - Headlining the women's race are two 1:09 athletes, Sara Moreira and Poland's Karolina Nadolska. Carla Salome Rocha & Catarina Ribeiro (both POR) are also entered. Spain's top woman is Laura Mendez (qualified for Tokyo in the marathon). In the men's race, Ayad Lamdassem & Javi Guerra (both 1:01:21 PBs) and Housamme Eddine Benabbou & Jaume Leiva (both 1:02 athletes) are the stand-out entries
                  • Dainis Kūla Javelin Cup - "Ventspils Spear 2021" (Ventspils, LAT) - International Javelin meeting; International entries limited to the Baltics this year but given that Latvian spear-chucking is quite strong, the fields aren't bad
                  • Championships of the Small States of Europe (Serravalle, San Marino) - 170 athletes from 15 nations/states are competing in 22 events here
                  • Hungarian GP Series Tatabánya (Tatabánya, HUN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; A lot of good fields here with a very international feel and a number of Brits competing; Not yet certain if this will be streamed though
                  • Gran Premio Cantones de La Coruña - Trofeo Sergio Vázquez (La Coruña, ESP) - WA Race Walking Challenge; M + W 20km on a 1km loop; The most prestigious of all the RW events outside the global championships. It's said that you haven't truly arrived in Race Walking until you've won in La Coruña! The fields are loaded despite the absence of the Chinese, Japanese & Aussies this year. The Women's race is like a who's who of South & Central American RW with their top 4 competing - defending champ Glenda Morejon (ECU), Sandra Arenas (COL), Erica de Sena (BRA) and, returning from knee surgery, Kimberly Garcia (PER) - as well as the likes of Alegna Gonzalez (MEX), Karla Jaramillo (ECU) & Mirna Ortiz (GUA). They'll have stiff competition from the Spaniards, Laura Garcia-Caro & Raquel Gonzalez. The Men's race has some strong Mexican, Ecuadorian & Guatemalan representation but should be dominated by the Europeans - Perseus Karlstrom (SWE), Alvaro Martin, Diego Garcia, Luiz Amezcua (all ESP), Christopher Linke (GER) & Tom Bosworth amongst those; Four other Brits are competing including Callum Wilkinson, still searching for the Olympic standard
                  • Oceania Invitational Meet #1 (Gold Coast, AUS) - Oceania Area Permit Meeting; Good fields in a lot of the events here
                  • Trofeo Internacional de Atletismo Ciudad de Salamanca - Memorial Carlos Gil Pérez (Salamanca, ESP) - Good fields in the sprints here, especially the M 400 which has Zambrano, Perlaza & L Santos; Quite a few Irish athletes competing
                  • European 10,000m Cup incl British 10,000m Championships/Olympic Trials (Univ of Birmingham, GBR)
                  • NACAC New Life Invitational (Miramar, FL, USA) - WA Continental Tour Silver meeting; Very good fields with a lot of big US-based and Caribbean stars competing here
                  Sunday
                  • Denka Athletics Challenge Cup (Niigata, JPN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Good domestic-only fields
                  • FBK Games (Hengelo, NED) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; Loaded! 'nuff said!
                  • Music City Track Carnival (Nashville, TN, USA) - American Track League #3; Good fields that include some big stars like Steven Gardiner (400), Sydney McLaughlin (season's 400H debut) & Jenny Simpson (1500)
All the links & details at https://www.dropbox.com/s/fs1r0us7ml...06-06.odt?dl=0

Next major post on Sunday evening for Monday & Tuesday action - the Paavo Nurmi Games WACT Gold meeting (Mon AND Tue), WACT Bronze meetings in Prague & Copenhagen, and hopefully the Ethiopian distance trials in Hengelo.

                        • Live streams/broadcasts for Monday 7th June to Tuesday 8th June:

I'm also hoping for a live stream for the Ethiopian distance Trials in Hengelo on Tuesday.

                          Monday
                          • Memoriál Josefa Odložila (Prague, CZE) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Good fields here; In the W 200 the Namibian teenagers, Mboma & Masilingi, make their debuts outside Africa; Brits Manson, Mills, Henry, Nelson, Boffey, Snowden & Yousif are all competing
                          Monday to Tuesday
                          • Paavo Nurmi Games (Turku, FIN) - WA Continental Tour Gold meeting; Good line-ups here, especially in the field. The women's track events look stronger than the men's; Quite a lot of Brits are due to compete; The meeting is split over 2 evenings with Monday being more 400s and upwards, whereas Tuesday is more sprint focused. Monday evening is on Finnish TV (VPN needed) with Tuesday evening on WA's YouTube channel (the hour before the WA stream is on Finnish TV)
                          Tuesday
                          • Copenhagen Athletics Games (Copenhagen, DEN) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Not the greatest of fields here but there's a decent 1500 that includes Josh Lay & Archie Davis; Several other Brits are also entered
                          • Ethiopian Olympic Trials - 800 to 10,000 (Hengelo, NED) - Naturally, there's a load of talent competing here!

                            • Lucky, tonightd meet at Marseille has some interesting events and competitors including a handful of Brits; Neita in the 100m seeing if she can replicate; and Giles and Heyward in the 1500m this time ;I hope Giles manages to run with some skill; unlike his last race;
Grice is entered in the meet, running rather a lot.?
Womens 1500m has Weightman entered; unless she s been injured she has left it fairly late for her first race. Laviai Neilson entered to see if she can beat the entry standard??
First time I've ever seen Startlists with the best of each athlete's honours won. A nice touch.

Maybe Grice is trying to race himself fit? He faded very dramatically in the last lap at Hengelo.

                            • Live streams/broadcasts for Wednesday 9th June to Thursday 10th June:

Unfortunately, there is no free live stream of this evening's Marseille meeting. The French Federation have signed a 3 year deal to show all their major meetings on a subscription sports streaming platform costing 5 Euros a month. So, this will also cover the meetings in Nancy & Sotteville-les-Rouen, their national championships, and from next year Montreuil and possibly a couple of indoor meetings as well. Given that it's on a streaming plaform (not TV), I'm not too hopeful of the meeting being uploaded to YouTube afterwards either.

                              Wednesday
                              • Austrian Open (Eisenstadt, AUT) - Not a particularly deep meeting but there's some decent fields such as the W 100 & 200 including Tsimanouskaya
                              Thursday to Saturday
                              • NCAA D1 Championships (Eugene, OR, USA) - Actually starting on Wednesday in Eugene but the live stream/broadcast of Day 1 starts here on Thursday very early morning; Live and repeated on BT Sport and, for those without BT, also on a very nice unofficial stream
                              Thursday to Sunday
                              • Troféu Brasil Caixa de Atletismo (São Paulo, BRA) - Always a big inter-club meeting in Brazil and often serves as a de-facto national championships; 13 of Brazil's 23 Tokyo-qualified athletes are competing (basically all those who aren't abroad at the moment)
                              Thursday
                              • Espoo Games (Espoo, FIN) - European Area Permit Meeting; Unfortunately, the Finns seem to be having some problems getting a lot of international athletes to their GP meetings this year; However, the M Hammer looks good (Nowicki, Kangas etc) - that's always given plenty of screen-time on Finnish TV; In the W 100H there's Korte, Pedersen & Hurske; Josh Lay continues his Scandi tour in the 800 & David King is in a decent 110H; Chris McAlister , Kristal Awuah & Kirsty Law are also competing
                              • Athens Sprint Men's Gala (Athens, GRE) - 100m, 150m & 110H; A decent entry list including the likes of Bockarie, Dimitrov, Smelyk & Smet
                              • Meeting Cidade de Lisboa (Lisbon, POR) - Not a particularly deep meeting but there's some good names (e.g., Neeraj Chopra, Quinonez, Tenorio & Perlaza) and a few Brits & Irish competing - the Brits being Cameron Fillery, Emily Diamond (against Sharlene Mawdsley) & Aimee Pratt in the 1500 against improving Salomé Afonso
                              • Golden Gala Pietro Mennea - Diamond League (Florence, ITA)
All the links & details at https://www.dropbox.com/s/qm50h93a8s...06-10.odt?dl=0

Next major post on Thursday evening for another busy weekend that includes the Alytus Race Walking Festival, Watford BMC Grand Prix, the Geneva meeting, the Balkan U20 Championships, the Sollentuna GP and the Italian U23 & U20 Championships.
