An update of some streaming today (all now updated in the latest document linked below):

1) It turns out that the TV broadcast of the Spanish Championships was also shown on the Spanish Federation's channel (no geo-blocking). Hopefully the same happens tomorrow.
2) Similar thing with the Italian Championships - the section that was on TV was actually streamed by the Italian Federation on YouTube too, but they didn't have the stream link on their YouTube "home page" (the link is now in the document). Again, the same may happen tomorrow?
3) There was an unexplained break in the streaming of the Balkan Indoor Championships after 1 hour 10 minutes. It resumed, for the rest of the meeting, just before the Women's 1500.

• Villa de Madrid (Madrid, ESP) - World Indoor Tour Gold meeting
• Serbian Open Indoor Meeeting (Belgrade, SRB) - DIDN'T MATERIALISE - First the Europsort broadcast was pulled and then the promised Serbian YouTube stream didn't appear! World Indoor Tour Bronze meeting; The big attraction is Duplantis (Braz & Lisek also there) and also competing are Morgan Lake, Richard Kilty and, in a good LJ field, Jasmin Sawyers

Thursday

• Coles Summer Super Series Meet (Bruce, ACT, AUS) - A few withdrawals here impacting the quality of what was looking like a good meeting; The W 800 with Bissett, Small, Hall & Kaan (nee McGowan) looks the pick of the bunch

Thursday to Saturday

• Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships (Mankato, MN, USA) - NCAA D2 conference; A pretty decent conference, especially on the women's side with 5 of the top 24 nationally ranked D2 teams headed by Minnesota State (#2) then Augustana SD (#18); For the men, Minnesota State are the top nationally ranked team (#20)

Next major post on Thursday for a busy long weekend that includes the big outdoor distance meeting in Texas, All Star Perche (PV), the Spanish XC Championships, XC & road action from Japan, and perhaps a few NCAA conference championships.

Live streams/broadcasts for Friday 26th February to Monday 1st March:

The offering this weekend includes the Texas Qualifier (a really stacked outdoor mid/long-distance meeting), 2 good national Cross Country championships, more outdoor action Down Under and 2 of the very strongest NCAA D2 conference championships. Another very strong D2 conference, the GLIAC, is also streaming but it's Pay-Per-View (15 dollars for the weekend!) so it's not listed here.

Friday to Saturday

• Ongoing - Days 2 & 3 of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships (Mankato, MN, USA) - see post & document above
• Mid-American Conference (MAC) Indoor Championships (Mount Pleasant, MI, USA) - NCAA D1 conference; A middling D1 conference featuring many of the teams that have competed in the Akron home meetings listed here in the last few weeks
• Victorian State Championships - Week 2 (Melbourne, AUS) - Some very good athletes competing in Part 2 of these championships

Friday to Sunday

• Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Indoor Championships (Spearfish, SD, USA) - NCAA D2 conference; One of the strongest D2 conferences with 5 of the men's teams here being ranked in the top 23 nationally and 3 of the women's teams ranked in the top 7 nationally

Saturday

• Sir Graeme Douglas International (Auckland, NZL) - WA Continental Tour Bronze; domestic-only this year
• Japanese Cross Country Championships (Fukuoka, JPN) - Good fields here with talented youngsters Nozomi Tanaka, Riririka Hironaka & Kaede Hagitani facing off in the women's race whilst 18yo sensation Ryuji Miura features in the men's
• All Star Perche (Clermont-Ferrand, FRA) - World Indoor Tour Special Silver meeting; International Pole Vault meeting; A dreadful lack of info for this meeting but at the very least it looks likely to feature Duplantis & Lavillenie

Saturday to Sunday

• Texas Qualifier (Austin, USA) - Outdoor mid/long-distance meeting; I'm very excited for this - the fields are absolutely loaded! On Saturday (very early morning our time) are the races aimed at getting Olympic Trials standards whilst the Sunday races are aiming for Tokyo standards
• Summit League Indoor Championships (Brookings, SD, USA) - NCAA D1 conference; Another middling D1 conference with the Dakota universities etc
• Mid America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) Indoor Championships (Topeka, KS, USA) - NCAA D2 conference; Another very strong D2 conference that features some of the teams that competed at the 4 Northwest Missouri home meetings listed here recently; 5 of the women's teams are nationally ranked in the top 23 and 6 of the men's teams in the top 25 nationally

Sunday

• Lake Biwa Mainichi Marathon (Otsu, JPN) - WA Elite Label; Men's Marathon; A lot of top Japanese men here and a very deep entry list with 27 sub-2:10 athletes
• Spanish Cross Country Championships - Individual & Autonomous Federations (Getafe, ESP) - 6 races for U20, U23 & Seniors; Fairly strong line-ups with the likes of Mayo, Lamdassem, Carro, Oukhelfen & Chiki Perez in the men's race and in the women's there's Sanchez-Escribano, Robles, Campo, Melero & Loyo; Don't know what the course will be like but there are some decent courses in Spain - they're not all pan-flat!

Monday to Tuesday

• Southeastern Conference (SEC) Indoor Championships (Fayetteville, AR, USA) - NCAA D1 conference; This is one of the "Power 5" conferences in D1; Not live but is being shown later on a channel that we can watch

• European Indoor Championships (Toruń, POL) - As well as BBC coverage, the European Athletics website has a main live feed and separate feeds for all the field events (no geo-blocking)

• New South Wales State Championships (Sydney, AUS) - A lot of quality athletes competing here

Friday

• BIG EAST Conference Cross Country Championships - 2020 edition (Cary, NC, USA) - NCAA D1 conference; Includes Georgetown & Providence and should also include Villanova & Butler (but not showing on entry lists)
• Mountain West Conference Cross Country Championships - 2020 edition (Las Vegas, USA) - NCAA D1 conference; Includes New Mexico, Boise State, Air Force & Colorado State
• Pac-12 Conference Cross Country Championships - 2020 edition (University Place, WA, USA) - NCAA D1 conference; Includes many of the powerhouse universities of distance running

Sunday

• Sound Running Invite (secret location, CA, USA) - Mid-distance meeting with some really stacked fields - e.g., the Women's 5000 includes Huddle, Sisson, McColgan, Monson, Kelati & Taylor; Josh Kerr & (ahem!!) Marc Scott are competing

Live streams/broadcasts for Thursday 11th March to Monday 15th March:

The NCAA D1 Indoor Championships is taking place from Thursday to Saturday but is only live on ESPN3, a channel not available on the internet. However, there are highlights (early morning!) on ESPNU, a channel we can view.
The NCAA D2 Indoor Championships, however, are being live streamed in full as are the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships.

There's the possibility of another event or two being added to the roster.

Thursday

• Canberra Track Classic (Canberra, AUS) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Some strong domestic fields here

Thursday to Saturday

• NCAA D2 Indoor Championships (Birmingham, AL, USA) - Always a good meeting

Saturday

• Sydney Track Classic incl Australian 5000m Championships (Sydney, AUS) - WA Continental Tour Bronze meeting; Again some good fields here; In the Women's 5000 Davies, Batt-Doyle, Seccafien & Gregson return from the Zatopek:10 to do battle again

Sunday

• Nagoya Women's Marathon (Nagoya, JPN) - WA Elite Platinum Label; Not as strong as usual but still good, including the likes of Mizuki Matsuda (2:21:47 Osaka winner last year) & Sayaka Sato (2:23 on her marathon debut here last year)
• Spanish 20km Race Walking Championships (Murcia, ESP) - After the Japanese & Chinese championships the Spanish champs is probably the strongest national RW championships; Strong domestic fields but also a very good contingent of international guests including Perseus Karlstrom & a number of very good Central Americans & Lithuanians
• Italian Cross Country Championships AKA Festa del Cross (Campi Bisenzio, ITA) - Decent fields in both senior races, including Jacob Kiplimo

Monday

• NCAA D1 Indoor Championships (Fayetteville, AR, USA) - Highlights only and at a very inconvenient time! However, there are also highlights on BT ESPN on the afternoon of Wednesday 17th
• NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships - 2020 edition (Stillwater, OK, USA) - Despite almost clashing with the Indoor championships I think the fields will still be very strong

Monday to Friday

• National Federation Cup Senior Championships (Patiala, IND) - Strong domestic fields for this, which I think is the equivalent of our Inter-Counties

Hiya. The NCAA championships can be viewed on ESPN. They have a deal at the moment 7 days free subscription. So sign up and cancel on Sunday. There is full playback. I’ve watched all the events I missed over the past two days.

Ah, OK, that's good! I just presumed you had to be US-based for any offer like that. When I've tried similar things in the past it's always asked me what TV provider I have - Dish, Comcast, Infinity etc (i.e., all US TV providers.)

I think they tend to show a lot of College Basketball at this time of year "March Madness". They usually have live coverage of the outdoors NCAA

A reminder that the NCAA D1 XC Championships are live streaming tomorrow at 5.30pm, on what NCAA XC coaches are calling the "hardest NCAA course in living history" !

There's also a possibility of live streaming for the Carolina Spring Break Classic in Puerto Rico (Thursday to Saturday) which features a few big name sprinters.

• Victorian Milers Club Meet #5 (Murrumbeena, VIC, AUS) - 800 & 1500; Not a huge number of big names for the last of this series but the Georgias, Griffith & Hansen, are competing as is Claudia Hollingsworth (aged 15y 11m) who ran an astonishing 2:36.7 for 1000m a couple of weeks ago.

Live streams/broadcasts for Saturday 20th March to Sunday 21st March:

Amongst other things, there's a smorgasbord of top Race Walking events this weekend.

For anyone tuning into to some of the Race Walking (it's possible to watch it all since 3 of the 4 events are on YouTube!), here's a reminder of the Olympic Standards - although quite a lot of the athletes competing this weekend already have the Standard:

Men's 20km: 1:21:00
Women's 20km: 1:31:00 (in Japan it's 1:30:00)
Men's 50km: 3:50:00
... And since there's also 35km races going on in Ukraine, the 2022 Worlds Standards are:
Men's 35km: 2:33:00
Women's 35km: 2:54:00

For the two NCAA D2 XC Championships streams, I can't vouch for the quality of the coverage since they've not live streamed these championships before.

Saturday

• Chinese Winter Walking Championships incl Olympic Trials (Huangshan, CHN) - With the top 3 in each race booking their flight to Tokyo, all the big names are competing here; The men's 20km starts at midnight tonight; On a 1km loop
• Dudinská 50 (Dudince, SVK) - European Race Walking Permit meeting; The 20km & 50km races here are really loaded! The fields (if they all make it to Dudince) showcase the strength of South & Central American race walking - Colombia, Mexico & Guatemala in particular have sent all their best athletes for this; There is also some good Europeans competing; On a 1km loop
• Ukrainian Winter Race Walking Championships (Lutsk, UKR) - Ukraine is quite strong in RW and all their best athletes except new mother Inna Kashyna are here; On a 1km loop
• Mountain East Conference (MEC) Cross Country Championships - 2020 edition (Wheeling, WV, USA) - NCAA D2 conference
• Grand Prix Sudamericano Estrella Puente (Montevideo, URU) - Provision of startlists and timetables for most of the South American meetings is poor but the preview says that athletes from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia & Ecuador are also entered
• Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Cross Country Championships - 2020 edition (Lock Haven, PA, USA) - NCAA D2 conference; I've watched the track & field championships for this conference before and it's a pretty decent conference

Late Saturday night into Sunday

• All Japan Noboru Race Walking Tournament incl Japanese University Race Walking Championships (Nomi, JPN) - Normally this is the Asian Race Walking Championships, incorporating these other races; There's some big names in the Men's race with Takahashi, Matsunaga, Kawano & Koga (Yamanishi has withdrawn); Sadly, the Women's race is missing Okada & Fujii; On a 1km loop
• Niigata Half Marathon (Niigata, JPN) - Not sure yet who is entered here but it's usually a decent quality race

Sunday

• Citylauf Invitational Dresden (Dresden, GER) - Decent international fields for these 10km, Half Marathon & Marathon races; The Half Marathons look strongest with Moen, Kipchumba, Meucci, Fitwi, Petros, Naert & Fabienne Schlumpf amongst those competing; For the Marathon, I think most of the best are holding off for the Hamburg Marathon in 3 weeks' time or the Swiss Marathon Championships in a fortnight
• Grand Prix Sudamericano Darwin Piñeyrúa (Montevideo, URU) - See the notes for the Grand Prix Sudamericano Estrella Puente above
• Campaccio International Cross Country (San Giorgio su Legnano, ITA) - WA Cross Country Permit; Some very good names competing here - amongst them Jacob Kiplimo, Oscar Chelimo, 2020 winner Mogos Tuemay, Lilian Rengeruk, Winfred Yavi & Tsehay Gemechu

• Melbourne Track Classic (Melbourne, AUS) - a few decent events here (e.g., both the 1500s) but, in general, the meeting has seemed to suffer from no longer being a WA permit meeting and being up against the WA Silver meeting in Brisbane on Saturday
